I'm a beginner, and this kit is perfect for that. It has almost everything you need. It was nice to find it all in one kit. The only additional thing I needed was a flat metal pan to put under the firing stone. I would not have expected that to be included. I found a used one.

I love this so much! My only complaint is that there is no parts list with description or purpose. The book is great , but does not talk about the rubber block and other pieces. I still don’t know what the rubber block is for.

The clay was great to work with, not dry at all, the items are good too, the butane torch though... Crap. Worked once then stopped and wouldn't work after refilling. Information booklet wasn't that helpful and cant use the DVD.

Tried to make a pendant set some sapphires in it put a hole for the link and when I fired it it went out of shape and shrunk to about half the original size. I don’t think you would be able to make a ring and have it the same size and shape when fired. I was very disappointed as I thought I was starting as simply as I could.
