I am very impressed with the MasterClass Shallow Casserole Dish with Lid! I've been using it for a few weeks now and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen tools. Here are some of the things I love about it:Lightweight: This is a huge advantage for me, as I have wrist problems and heavy cookware can be difficult to maneuver. A great oven proof shallow casserole dish that worked well on my induction hob for searing meat . It cooked food evenly and was large enough to make a casserole for 8 people. The coated aluminium means it is light weight which is a bonus as I can no longer lift my cast iron casseroles when full of food. Food residue cleans off easily by hand or in the dishwasher. It is good value and I am pleased with it. It has had a lot of use as it is a versatile pan.

The media could not be loaded. This is a magical pan that cooks everything and takes seconds to clean!We have used it for just over two months on a daily basis. It has been used to fry, deep fry, steam, boil, bake and slow cook. It has been outstanding for all forms of cooking!!It's incredibly light weight can be held up by one hand, which is a godsend when your juggling several things on the hob. Once on the dinner table it looks stylish, perfect for those in the household that like to take foodie pictures.The most amazing thing for me is that literally nothing sticks to it, I have included pictures and a video of how even baked on slow cooked thick residue literally just washes off with hot water.Amazing pan, you will not regret purchasing it: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great lidded dish but I'd misunderstood what my partner wanted so it was returned.

Really like this product even after just 2 weeks we have used it almost every night in the cold weather. After looking at the cast iron alternative for a while we decided to go for the cast aluminium version for several reasons. Having used cast iron in the past I know how heavy they are, this version is much easier to handle. Secondly the enamel tends to get damaged over time - the aluminium version has a very durable non stick surface that has proven very easy to clean . Transmits heat almost instantly so speeds up cooking time.Only thing to remember is that the handles require good oven gloves as they get hot. Not a negative but if your starting cooking on the hob to seal meat or similar then you will need to be careful of hot handles.All in all I highly recommend this product- very pleased.

Love this casserole dish. Cooks brilliantly. Non stick. Cleans easily. Dishwasher safe. Not heavy like cast iron ones. Love the hob to oven capability. I know to use oven gloves for the handles and lid once it's been heated a short while so that's not a problem. Just weird that the black ring on the bottom is like a black chalk that comes off onto your hands. Washes off easily, just be careful not to touch anything in-between and mark your clothes and cupboards.Definitely recommend this product

Cast iron pans are too heavy for me, this pan is light and performs equally well. The only problem are the handles- they become dangerously hot even on the hob- I tried to cover them with foil, but they were still too hot. Hence one has to purchase the handles' cover that cost twelve pounds at present.

Updated review: I wanted to update this review since I have used this dish for 2 years now. It is still amazing. We cook everything from sausages to rice inside and food still doesn't stick, and it still the easiest dish to clean. I'm getting another one for my mother-in-law.Original review: Great casserole dish! I only needed a casserole dish, mostly for frying purposes, but I want to figure out how to buy more from this set to replace some of my old pans. Also, I know it shouldn't be about looks, but this dish is also just so beautiful!

Love these, have bought one for myself and grown up children. They are light unlike cast iron which is so heavy.Just use it for everything these days. Also just the right depth to make pies etc.

Can be used on the hob or in the oven and always non stick. We have used it for many types of cooking from casseroles to omelettes.

This is wonderful so far. You can start food on the hob then straight into the oven. It’s non stick but only time will tell how that lasts.. Trouble is with those lovely cast iron ones (you know the ones I mean) they are so heavy & when food added to them - too heavy for me. This is excellent for me as its lightweight.
