Great Little Prop Sword
Nice short sword that works well as a stage prop. Slides out of & back into the scabbard easily. Holds up quite well to stage fencing. No edge to worry about; I suppose you could hurt yourself with the point, but you'd really have to try.Size is fine for a short sword if you're my height (5'8"/~173 cm). Might look a bit twee if you're 6'2" ^-^Full Review:I'm using this sword in a Nutcracker production, and it's holding up quite well against the Mouse Queen's steely blades (which are of a comparable length). I wanted something short because our stage is quite small and battle scene is always a bit chaotic (as it should be). This sword is perfect—big enough to "read" from the audience, but small enough that I won't accidentally whallop a mouse or a toy soldier on the backswing.Since it's not sharp, I also don't have to worry about the Toy Soldiers (who are all about 7 to 8) inadvertently stabbing each-other after they collect it to exit the stage at the end of the battle scene. For the price, it's quite nicely detailed. It'll look great from the audience.Since I'm not actually using it for proper self-defense or highly technical swordplay or what have you (we're just gracefully whanging away and tossing in occasional low swings and jumps), I haven't bothered really testing out the balance, etc, but it doesn't feel cumbersome or ill-balanced in our fight choreography. In short: come the apocalypse, you probably won't be hacking apart the zombie hordes with this sword (though it's definitely stiff enough to leave a pretty good bruise, if indeed zombies bruise), but it looks pretty nice and it's a superb (and very fun) stage prop.

Almost high quality!
This thing was hefty and almost felt like a real sword. It is very sturdy and feels like high quality. Unfortunately I ended up dropping the sword on the ground and it flew into pieces. The handle appeared to be the weak point because it split into 5 pieces. The metal tang was thin and snapped just from standing height.

Looks great! Made of metal, not plastic
My son was ecstatic to find out this is a 'real' sword. We thought it was plastic. He's old enough, but we still had a discussion about how it is more likely to break/ scratch things. Very pleased with the purchase.

Good weight
It has a good weight to it where you can feel it but it's not too heavy. It's not sharp but you could probably sharpen it yourself if that's what you want. It seems decently built given the price. It does have a small "China" on the base of the sword but you might could buff it off.I'm thinking of naming it Mr. Pointy 😉

Metal, not plastic
I got this sword for my son expecting it to be a realistic looking, plastic sword. But to my pleasant surprise, it is actually metal, and very nice, especially for the price!
