WizKids D&D: Icons of The Realms Premium Figure: Adult Black Dragon Figure

Let me start off by saying I got this on sale for $50. For that price, this statue is a steal! It’s a bit fragile, but most quality collectibles are, especially ones this detailed. It will definitely make for a perfect encounter in my campaign, and even if you don’t use minis in your campaigns, this makes an excellent display piece in a game room or or a collection. Just make sure to keep it in a safe spot as a fall will most certainly break the wings off. Definitely looking forward to getting the other chromatic dragons now!

Amazing really love it

Insane detail and the size far exceed my expectations. This is more a statue/bust than a "mini" but still is going to be used to awe my players.

I mean when it some to DnD minis this definitely is what I like to call a top shelf mini. For a mini that comes painted already the quality of the paint is awesome the detail is good, the overall size of the mini will have your players characters really feeling the frightful presence for the dragon.I will say at full price it’s a hard bite to swallow but at half off it’s hard not to buy.

Fantastic, almost tpk'd my players

Overall, this is a nice figure. However, for the price, I can’t say it’s worth more than $40. First, the figure we got had a massive factory paint error. The left rear hip had a complete half-inch area that was not painted. There are several other smaller issues. Also, the base is bent. If I didn’t know better I would say WizKids is selling factory rejects through their Amazon store. Had I picked this up in a local store, I would have seen the problems and laughed while tossing it back on the shelf. It’s a shame that QA has been abandoned.Normally I would send this back, but I can paint the faulty areas myself. The time and energy it takes to send something back for a replacement that will in all likelihood have the same or other issues is not worth it. Be prepared to get a factory second. Better yet, buy from a local store so you can see for yourself the condition of what you are getting. WizKids seems to be getting sloppier every year. Shame. I have to say, it makes me miss my Ral Partha metal figures from the late 70’s and early 80’s.

This guy looks great. Only thing is he was advertised as a gargantuan model and he isn't. He's definitely huge. Base has a secondary outline so you could use him for two different sizes. But he is not as big as the true gargantuan (or is that collosal) models.

As large as expected, arrived in mint condition. Colors are exceptional. No complaints, a great piece for your collection.
