Husqvarna Construction Products 965148208 FS 400 Low Vibrations Walk Behind Floor Saw

I give this machine and Zoro, and Amazon Five stars. I wish I could give more. The machine runs great and easy to handle. The Honda motor is a great match for this size saw. I can't say enough about it. The only warning I will give you is to say, DONT BUY THIS MACHINE From JACKS SMALL ENGINE out of MARYLAND! Buy From ZORO You will get your machine when they say you will! Not even including the customer service difference! Jacks Small Engine needs to just stick to their local customers because they SURLEY can't handle Amazon orders.

One year in, and a key design flaw ruins what would be a great saw.The part that controls how the blade raises and lowers is a hand-crank wheel that connects to a screw jack. Unfortunately the threads of the screw are exposed to the elements. For a floor saw that requires water to cool, this is a major design issue. After one year of being exposed to moisture and humidity, it has completely seized and frozen in place. And yes, this saw is maintained and the screw is greased per manufacturer's specs. Had this screw been enclosed in a simple plastic sleeve, this likely could have been avoided.To add insult to this problem, the saw is now out or warranty, and I am awaiting a replacement part. It's been SIX WEEKS and there is still a wait on the part from the manufacturer. This is very telling to me as I am obviously not the only person who has had a problem with this part and design.For the cost of the out-of-warranty repair, plus the cost of rentals, I could have bought a totally new saw.
