Door Hinges Satin Nickel 3.5 Inch Interior Hinges 5/8" Radius - 12 Pack

After Schlage significantly cheapened their hinge quality (but kept their over the top price), I searched out a replacement. Sorgmach beat EVERY other brand I tried except in one category; a category that may not even matter. WORKMANSHIP: Every piece in my shipment was essentially perfect. Only piece had the ever so slightest imperfection. Compare this to Schlage in which not a single hinge in 5 examined didn't have some sort of scratch or blemish. The metal pieces were all perfectly formed. Many of the others had rough or a step in the edges on the corner to straight edge transitions. QUALITY: again topped all other brands. 1" screws (3/4" knocks a star off in my reviews FYI). The only place it could improve upon was the smoothness of the hinge function. There is a slight play in the hinge and no resistance in the opening / close. A little is actually good like EveryBilt (higher end one), Amazon Basic, and Haidms. That said in actual operation on the door, this is pretty undetectable. FINISH: Sorgmach had the nicest finish of all the brands tested. The Satin Nickel actually matched the Schlage door handles better than the "new" Schlage hinges and with next to no finish imperfections...something as I mentioned could not be said of the other brands. The Aged Bronze although higher quality finish did not match the Schlage handles as well though. Brands compared: Amazon Basics (4 stars): great price, zero play in the hinge action, finish quality decent but the oil rub bronze was farthest off from my other hardware (note: the satin nickel ones never arrived), quality on the higher side but not as good as the Sorgmach both metal workmanship and finish Only 3/4" screws. Hosom (3 stars): not many specifics as this was the first brand to get rejected. Trailed others in finish and hinge action. Haidms (4 stars): aged bronze finish trailed others; satin nickel was better. 1" screws and zero hinge play. The corner to edge transitions were not smooth and the finish quality not as nice as the Sorgmach. In addition, while zero play the lubricant made a slight noise on operation. Perhaps this would quickly go away but the others did not make this noise. Everbilt (3 stars): this is the slightly more expense smoother operation one. Had no play in the hinge action but my one sample had some sort of steel burr or something that could be felt ...at least in the in-hand testing. I did not try on the door. Finish-wise, the Everbilt was similar to the Schlage though not as good of a match an inferior in quality to the Sorgmach. 1" screws. If it wasn't for that imperfection, I would have given this one 4 stars. Schlage 2021 Version (2 stars): oh how disappointing, though I did end up using this one in some cases because it was the aged bronze was the best finish match for the Schlage handles. While the prior Schlage version had a zero play hinge with a little friction, the new model had the MOST play out of all brands and no friction; a very sloppy hinge. In addition, every piece had some sort of defect or imperfection. Furthermore, the 2021 finish was noticeably of lower quality than the prior version. Also cheapened was the packaging; this I don't so much care about though. Many including myself buy Schlage for their reputation as a quality leader. This newer version is so much poorer than the prior I actually returned for an exchange thinking they had sent the wrong one. To add a black eye to the insult, Schlage has NOT change their prices which are more expensive than everyone else.

Use these to replace existing hinges that had a different finish on them. These look great and fit exactly as they should as replacements. The satin nickel finish match the other hardware in the room. It was a good price and it seems like they will last a long time.

Hinges worked perfect to replace my brassy corroded ones. Same hole pattern and these are not squeaky. Screws included were long enough to grab into new wood. Very happy.

These were exact replacements for 20 year old doors and they look and work like new.

Replaced all the hinges in the house to match new satin nickel hardware from Schlage. Perfect match. They fit perfectly, and are completely silent.

Very nice quality

These standard hinges required very little adjustment to mounting area replacing my standard 20+ year old hinges. Color was perfect, hinges were quiet and sturdy. The screws were slightly longer than the ones I was replacing - perfect for those loose or stripped holes in door jam.

I usually just grab interior door hinges as needed from the nearby home improvement store without thought to the price or quality. However, since I was buying new handlesets from Amazon, I did a search to find matching brushed nickel hinges. There's an overwhelming number of choices. Shoutout to Scott for providing a detailed review and naming this brand as a quality choice. He was right, in a side by side comparison with the Mastercraft hinges from the home improvement store, the Sorgmach hinges are clearly superior in fit and finish. I actually appreciate the low resistance pins on these hinges as the paper-light hollowcore doors I installed close nicely with a gentle push.

Very great quality but my bad had to return. They were too big. Reorder new smaller ones
