Feels good and solid in the hand, sharp and true. The left or right handed thing doesn't matter - everyone should have both in their collection to be flexible for a variety of situations. Excellent tool. Nothing cheap about the weight, form or function. Very impressive.

I worked for a construction company doing HVAC work for about a year, and these 90 degree cutters were all we ever used for sheet metal. So I bought my own, and they have been awesome. The angle between the blade and the handle allows you to cut flat metal without the metal getting in the way of your handle and hands. Much easier than regular tin snips. They also work great for cutting round ducts. Awesome tool.

As an HVAC tech/installer these are by far the most handy snips in my opinion. I love them. Tight corners and angles are nothing with them

Honestly I am huge fan of Midwest snips. I’ve used them for over a decade in HVAC and have only owned three pairs in that time frame because of the quality. This was my first pair of 90’s and I’ve had them for maybe two months. Cut a seem on some 26 gauge and this was the result. Well at least they worked good while they weren’t broken.

I'm an hvac tech and these snips will not open on there own.

The snips cut, but the blades do not slide smoothly against each other. Also the return spring feels like it barely has the strength to return the blades back to open.
