More like a lure, not a repellent.
Set up perimeter as per the instructions to keep feral hogs away. Did not work, in fact hogs came right up to the dispenser stakes and plowed the ground and tipped over the stakes! Don't waste your money.

How do they get this stuff?
My house is located near a pond, and was the normal nighttime track fo a coyote family. I started using this product about 10 years ago, and haven't seen a coyote since. It has also detered raccoons and Fisher Cats near my bird feeders.- not so much the squirrels.

Predator Pee- Mtn Lion Urine KEEPING VERY Prevalent Coyotes COMPLETELY OFF of our fenced property
We are using 'Predator Pee 100% Mountain Lion Urine' exactly as directed. Spraying the tags and hanging them at regular intervals on our fence line. There have been -0- Coyotes on our property since we began in late July 2022, we know because our cats, and especially our dog, are finally resting easy. You see Turbo feels it is his job to protect us even though we are all safe inside. Our semi-rural area often has a pack reaching a size up to 2 dozen strong after pupping season, even more some years depending on rain, (rain brings grass/grain brings rodents). Our Kelpie Turbo would get up and down, up and down, up and down, with each scent and sound of the coyotes. He just had to growl at the door, "Yeah, you tell 'em boy!" 😆 At 12 years he was getting a little old for this, that's why I finally opted for the Mtn Lion Pee. I'm grateful for 'Predator Pee' giving him the break he deserves. p.s. Yes, coyotes of the west do hunt in packs, though they still den in singular family groups.

Part of my raccoon relocation strategy
I strategically applied this predator juice around 3/4 of soffit vents to encourage raccoons to relocate. A few days later when I could tell they’d moved away from those vents closer to the exit I put a saturated cloth in the attic as the final push. They are gone. I have not seen them attempt to re-enter through the one-way exit door I put over the last soffit vent they tore open.

Don't use to scare away coyotes!
I thought this would keep the huge pack of coyotes away from my yard. The night I put it out, the opposite happened! I figured, if they smelled a natural predator, it would scare them. After reading the bottle, it is used more for pet training, to get animals to use the bathroom in certain areas!!!! I should have read the bottle before using.

Totally ineffective at deterring elk
We have a resident herd of 25-30 elk that visit our property and eat pretty much everything in our yard. I’ve tried multiple means of deterring them and nothing works. I hoped the Cougar urine would keep them away from our shrubs so I deployed several one-ounce bottles. I will say that the pee stinks (so I’m giving it 2 stars for that). It certainly got the attention my dog, and made her curious and a bit uneasy. But the elk ignore it completely and browse on plants within a couple feet of one dispenser. And yes, we have mountain lions in our area so the elk should know what they smell like.
