Beautiful!
Gift for niece who loves Harry Potter and it was perfect! She's 12 and loves it, though it is beautiful for any age. It lights up and plays music. If you want to leave the light on, like as a night light, be sure to have it plugged in. Since it rotates while playing music, you can't have it plugged in at that time. (it's a rotational winding mechanism). If storing it in the box it came in, be VERY careful not to scratch it on the little metals tabs that hold the carrying straps in place. They include a small barrier pad to protect it, but it's easy to forget it or not think it's necessary after shipment (it is).

I love it
The globe is fantastic. What heavier than I thought it was gonna be. It looks great it was a favorite gift to my son. I forgot it was a music box so that was a fun rediscovery. So in the end is a great hit and I love it.

Small but impressive.
Purchased this as a gift for a beloved family member. Although smaller than I anticipated, the piece was beautifully done and was of high quality. The image is clear, the reflection the light makes is magical and the tones are lovely. The gift was well received, and loved.

Wood's a little unfinished
It honestly looks and sounds really good, almost worth the money... The only negative I have on this is that the wood isn't lacquered or sealed in any way as it looks in the pictures. It would be very nice in the future if they put something like a cherry finish in the wood to really clean it up

More Beautiful in Person
I gifted this to my mom (who is extremely hard to buy for) and she loved it. The crystal ball doesn't attach to the base so be careful when handling it (I dropped the ball but it was fine). I suggest charging the stand before you gift it to make sure the light shows brightly.

The elk looks wonderful but the snow doesn't move I'm sorry to say. The globe would work well for a little more rustic setting and is a unique gift. I was a little disappointed in how long the music played and requested a refund. After some miscommunications, I received a full refund, so the follow-up and service appears to be great. A good gift for the right person.
