Happy book encourages "I've got this!" positive, grateful attitudes!
Wonderful, well and simply written, pleasingly illustrated book to encourage a happy day! To me, helping our children (and ourselves!) to greet each day -- to stretch, to breathe, to have an "attitude of gratitude" -- is one of the most important things we can do. Marian Gates' book encourages just this happy, positive approach to morning -- no small thing to help our kiddos get off to a good daily, can-do start! Yes, "Good Morning YOGA" encourages a happy attitude of "I've got this!"Good Morning YOGA makes, in my opinion and recent experiences, a perfect gift for any child /new baby in a household that does yoga or which might be amenable to this stretch-breathe-greet approach, even if parents don't "do yoga".

Easy Yoga Routine
This book is great. My 5-year old HFA son loves doing the poses and asks his older brother to do them with him. They may get a bit silly with them sometimes, but they are perfect for a simple morning routine.

Great yoga routine for toddlers in morning, or anytime of day!
Our whole family loves these yoga books. We to the Good Night Yoga routines as well and it is just a great way to start and end the day. Our daughter loves the illustrations and studies each child in the book to understand what she should do. Mountain and Boat pose are her favorites.

The newest book by Gates and Hinder continues to delight children and help adults direct their learning. As a former professor of Children's Literature, I found myself making plans to use the book with a class (I retired 15 years ago!). My approach would involve teaching one posture (page spread) a day along with talking about the text--maybe even singing its words. Ask the child what the text says that isn't in the illustration, and then ask what the illustration shows that isn't mentioned in the text. Parents and teachers will imagine many ways to use the books by Gates and Hinder and children will look forward to a new adventure every time the books are opened.

Cute Helpful Easy
Great visual product for kids. 7 year old likes to read it and do the poses, 1 year old likes to try to copy the poses in the pictures. Very clear, cute pictures. There is a page with all the poses, so sometimes we set up the book on a picture stand with it open and go through the poses without reading the whole book. There is a page with positive self thought that is nice. This is a great way to start off our homeschool day :D

My 6 year old nephew loves this book!
I gifted this yoga pose book to my nephew who is 6 years old. He LOVES it! He can open it, and do the poses himself by following the pictures, and he also liked when I do the poses with him and read the pages as we move through the poses. A great gift pairing idea is to either pair this book with an animated child-sized yoga mat like this one: https://amzn.to/2N1Lslf Or pairing it with the Night yoga version of this book: https://amzn.to/2WYMu6f
