YAY
OH YEAH. THIS IS THE STUFF. This works so incredibly well I was actually SHOCKED when I watched my hair go from dark purple to BLONDE within 20 mins. Granted that this is a bleach kit, 30 vol at that, it works incredible. I am kinda new to bleaching my hair, I usually just try to let it fade and then tone, but for the color I was doing I needed to be as blonde as possible. I love how easy it was to use, and the instructions were incredibly simple. It also came with everything you could possibly need to bleach your hair! My hair is down to my shoulder blades, medium-full thickness, and naturally blonde. I only needed one box.

Iโm genuinely flabbergasted
Honestly I was kinda nervous to use this, given it was my first time bleaching on my own, but it worked surprisingly good and fast, I bleached the front sections of my hair + my eyebrows, and oml!! It lifted the color on my eyebrows in like 5 minutes, the packaging recommended 30-40 minutes, but I only needed about 15 on my hair! And Iโve dyed and bleached it so many times! I definitely 10/10 recommend this product!

It worked better than I thought it would.
I was skeptical at first because I didn't think it was going to do a good job. I wanted it to just at least be decent. It went beyond my expectations is actually a really good kit. My hair isn't dark colored it's actually a light pink or it was and it took it up to almost Platinum so it was really good kit.

Brunette to Blonde in One Process
My stylist recommended Manic Panic's Flash Lightening Hair Bleach Kit with 30-Volume Developer. I have dark brown hair and needed to maintain my foil at home to save money. Manic Panic is a great product. You will have no problem lifting your hair color from dark to light. The box kit comes with instructions, a pair of gloves, a cap, an envelope of bleaching powder, a 30-vol cream developer, a tint brush, and a mixing tub with a lid. This is so convenient. Since I only need to do root touchups, I don't need to mix all of the product for an application. This kit allows me to only measure the amount of product I need,so I don't waste anything. I also love the tint brush. I got very good application coverage with it and was able to paint the product exactly onto the areas where I needed it. The other end of the brush is useful in helping to section the hair!, which is another plus. The Manic Panic Flash Lightening 30-Volume has no problem lifting dark brunette hair to a very light blonde. People might complain about the product damaging their hair... which is crazy to me. This is BLEACH, and bleach is going to break the hair down. That's just the way it is. My hair was a little dryer and it was somewhat damaged after I had used this product, but I expected that. I did not experience any breakage using Manic Panic Flash Lightening, and overall, my hair was compromised but not to a regrettable degree. The areas of my hair where I accidentally had overlapped the product onto hair I'd previously bleached did not suffer any significant consequence. I recommend this product as a tried and true go-to for anyone who wants to lighten dark hair. Just read the instructions carefully and know how to use the product before you begin. You should have zero problems!

First time hair bleacher - great experience!
First time hair bleacher! My hair is medium length (a few inches below my collar bone) and was dyed a mix of dark brown and blue. Blue is very easy to remove, but dark brown is not. I wanted to change my hair back to its original color (strawberry blonde) so obviously needed to bleach it. I watched Brad Mondo's youtube video that broke down the very basics of hair bleaching and coloring (which does NOT replace a stylist's professional experience and years of studying color theory) so I could get an idea of what to do and what not to do so I don't completely ruin my hair. I chose this product because it is a complete kit including 30 volume developer, gloves, cap to lock in that heat, and the mixing bowl and brush. I chose to buy 4 packs because I assumed it would take 2 boxes to liberally apply to my full head of thicker hair for one application and also decided I should buy enough for 2 applications (common for dark brown hair dye). It was the perfect amount. At a salon this amount of bleaching would be like $250-400 and 3-4 hours in a chair on top of the time and money it would take to dye your hair afterward. With this product and my boyfriend's help, it only cost me $40 to bleach my hair and removed 98.54% of the dye. The tiny amount leftover was from the super dark brown dye that turned reddish slightly and worked for coloring my hair afterward. My virgin roots that had no color were white after one application and 30 min. I did 2 applications each for max of 50 min. A few tips: Apply to ends first then roots. Get a friend's help to make sure you don't miss spots (I'm terrible when it comes to the back of my head so my bf's help was absolutely necessary. Some people can do without and idk how they do it). Watch Brad Mondo's youtube video on bleaching and dying hair. It was posted March/April of 2020 and is about 20 minutes of your time well spent. Your hair will be dry - definitely invest in a conditioning hair mask and a leave in conditioner to help restore moisture to your hair after bleaching and dying. Plan your evening around it. This is time consuming but considering how much money I saved by doing it myself, I'm much happier than if I had gone to the salon. It will heat up while sitting under that cap - that's normal and nothing to worry about. Don't wash your hair for a couple days before or else bleaching will burn. I hope this helps you in your hair-venture and let's you really rock out your true self in whatever color you love.

BUY AT LEAST 2 IF YOU'RE DOING YOUR WHOLE HEAD!
First off, yes this is the 30 vol set (go by the title and description, not the photo). Second, BUY AT LEAST 2 boxes of this - unless you have short AND thin hair, one box will not cut it. I used to have long hair & it's fine but pretty thick (i.e. I have a lot of fine-textured hair), and I recently got it cut shorter than I planned on - just barely past my shoulders with layers that start about mid-head. I figured one kit of lightener would be plenty... Until I started actually bleaching my head. I followed the guidance of Brad Mondo with regards to quadrant sectioning and how much bleach to apply, and about halfway through I realized I royally f'ed up. I didn't even make it through my whole head, much less get to my roots. And that was with trying to be sparing when I realized how little I had to work with. Basically an entire quadrant of my head got no bleach, and I had none to go back and do my roots with. I ended up letting it all sit for only about an additional 10 minutes and rinsed it all out since I knew I'm going to have to re-bleach it all anyway. I have THREE - yes, three - more boxes on the way for my next bleaching, because I want to be sure I have enough and I'm not sure even 2 boxes will saturate enough. Guess after all I should've just gotten a big container of bleach and developer from Sally's instead of trying to save some $ w/ manic panic. All that said, it was seeming to lighten pretty well on the areas that got fully saturated; and luckily, my bleached hair doesn't feel too damaged/dry. So hopefully another bleaching won't fry it, but it will be a challenge to make sure I'm applying to the right places at the right times in order to get any kind of consistency now that I look halfway like a calico cat. Oy.
