This is the second of these lightweight vacuums we've purchased in a couple of months, and it's for my 85 year old dad who, after breaking his wrist last year, struggles to use his old upright vacuum. The first one fortunately wasn't great, and after initially looking perfect for him it developed a fault. This one seems to be a far better quality item alright, and whilst it doesn't quite have the bells and whistles the other one did it does the job of vacuuming far better.First on to suction power, and it's really quite impressive. As with all of these there is a bit of a drop when it starts to fill so you need to keep on top of emptying it, and it probably won't completely replace your existing bulky hoover (it this case a Henry) when it comes to pure suction, but this is far easier for my dad to use - no cord so easy to get up and down the stairs, and light enough that he can easily hold it in one hand and doesn't have to worry about dragging a big heavy thing about.There's an impressive range of accessories supplied, and this vacuum has one thing I've never seen before. There's no LED display on this like others I've seen, but instead it connects via it's own app to your phone. At first I wasn't sure if this was a completely unnecessary gimmick but having used it for a while now it's actually a good idea. You get information on the vacuum including battery time (which seems to be around 60-70 minutes, more than enough for us), maintenance reminders etc and can adjust modes.The vacuum uses auto-sensing to adjust the power which is a nice touch and should extend the battery time to the maximum - there's a little led circle on the top which goes red when it detects debris, which then clears to blue after it's sucked up, and the power will adjust accordingly. Other nice touches are an included wall-mounted storage dock and the simple emptying of the dustbin section (it's a one-touch operation on the bottom of the unit, so you can hold it over the bin and empty easily - it's just another neat design).So the app connectivity has won me over with time, and the vacuum itself is just a very nice looking and well designed bit of kit with good suction power and a very good long lasting battery thanks to the auto-power sensor. A very good vacuum indeed.

battery life appears to be less than advertised

I bought this for my daughter who’d commented on how easy my own Tineco vacuum cleaner is to use and how light it is. In fact, I think this one is an upgrade on mine as you can download an app which tells you when the filter needs cleaning and when the cleaner needs to be emptied. My daughter has two small children and uses it everyday. She really likes it and as such I’m very happy with the purchase.

Not sure the technology works as described. Neat unit to use around the home, for light vacuuming.

I bought this for my mother and used it to clean the house. It was great at picking up dust, dirt and hair. It charged up quickly and is really easy to empty the bin especially once you know you can twist the centre part out.

I'll preface this was saying I have 4 cats and a long haired dog plus a 7 and 10 year old so you can imagine the state our flooring gets into. Our place is mostly laminate flooring with carpeting on the stairs and hall way only but a few rugs in different rooms.This is a pretty light vacuum cleaner and I can easily use it one handed and lift it up and down the stairs.It has 2 power settings low and high - I have found on the laminate floor the low setting is absolutely fine for cleaning daily as it picks up pretty much everything. On the carpet daily is low setting but once a week I find I need the high setting to give a deeper clean and lift the fur.As I mainly use on the low setting I find battery life is great - 1 charge lets me do 2-3 days of cleans.The main tool brush head has lights which when using shows up any dust/dirt you might have missed. The other tools are useful for cleaning the furniture and also cleaning over ornaments to save dusting.The filters are easy to clean and remove/fit.Emptying the bin is easy.There are 2 issues for me with this vacuum:1. to charge it you need to fit it to the docking station. The docking station has a very short cable so it has to be fitted near to a socket and if you have a small amount of space then it takes up room and you dont have the option to charge directly from the cable it has to be via the dock.2. the app is not great - it's the only way of seeing the battery life but it's not good. The battery level doesnt seem accurate at all - one minute its full and literally the next its empty.However, despite the issues mentioned this is a good and easy to use cleaner. The current price is £230 which is equal to the price you would pay for a shark and in terms of quality it is equal to the shark.

Item arrived on time and is really lightweight and easy to use. Instructions are clear and simple to follow. Very pleased with my purchase.

Absolutely useless. Unable to cope with simple tasks such as christmas tree needles. Scatters more than it picks up. Not recommended.
