I have had 2 lower front teeth that overlapped slightly for many years, despite having had braces. It was just too tight. I heard an orthodontist talk about slenderizing or shaving teeth but he wouldn't just slenderize, it had to be ortho. I thought, I wonder if there is a DIY product out there. I have to say, I was a little nervous. I also read other product reviews which said other products were too flimsy and broke. Since this said it was metal, I decided to try this one. I liked that it is single sided and that there is a place without sandpaper to push it through the space in your teeth. Through other googling, I found out that some teeth were triangular shaped which I thought made me a good candidate for some slight use of the abrasive strips. I am very, very pleased. Be careful this product works! There are risks and your teeth won't grow back. Don't let kids or teens use them. Responsible adults only.

I have teeth that are growing in crooked on the bottom. They were hitting my top teeth and chipping them. The orthodontist said I would need braces even though it was just two teeth. He would not just sand them in between. I did not want to pay $5,000 for braces when none of my other teeth were crooked. I was able to use this to send in between my teeth they're still crooked but they moved back enough that they are no longer chipping my top teeth. I tried to look up on YouTube for instructions on how to use the files but there's not really much to show you but worth getting instead of paying $5,000!!

Tooth broke and needed to file down the remains as it was cutting my tongue! Worked out great and was able to gently file sharp sides.

This was just what I was looking for. My upper teeth, although beautiful, are just a bit too close. I have problems when I use floss. These strips helped put just enough space between my teeth where floss passes through without an issue.

I purchased because I had a back molar with a sharp corner that kept cutting my tongue and giving me painful sores. These are better for teeth in the front because molars are harder to reach with the strips.
