Ashland Slim Cabinet with Drawer

Great little cabinet for narrow spaces. Easy to assemble.

I purchased these originally to be used in my half bath that I was redoing, but they were slightly too large to fit beside my toilet (should have measured better). I loved them so much though that I wanted to keep them, so I put them in my master bath for extra storage. These came packaged very well, shipped on time, and I found no defects in the pieces. Instructions were very clear, and I had them put together in about an hour. They are fairly sturdy on their own, though they do have an option to anchor them to the wall, which would just make them that much sturdier. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and would definitely purchase from this brand again.

This is a very sturdy attractive looking cabinet. I assembled approximately 90% of the cabinet myself at age 78 however did get some help attaching the hinges. It fits perfectly in the bathroom space and hold enough toiletries to keep me organized. I had ordered a different cabinet previously and the first piece out of the carton was damaged. I returned it and then gambled on ordering another cabinet that needed to be assembled. All the pieces in this carton were is very good shape, no damage, and straight forward instructions. It does help to have an extra pair of hands but as a 78 year old woman I managed well.

We needed a small storage container near the commode, and this was perfect. It doesn't have a huge footprint and the door shuts without gaps. The shelves are removable which is great for taller items. The only downside is I wish I'd bought it sooner.

Our cabinet arrived with one very, very small ding in the corner of the top, but I didn't substract for this as it's fine for our application. The instructions say that River Ridge will supply free replacement parts in the event of damage or missing parts. Instructions were easy to follow, although for older eyes like mine some of the line drawing details were a little small. But the instructions included the line drawings AND a written description of the assembly steps. I loved that the hardware was individually bagged with letters to insure you easily could find the proper hardware for each assembly step. The wooden pieces also had stickers with identification letters as well (for the most part). The alignment of holes and cut-outs was very good. I'd even say 'precision'. I found a Phillips #1 screwdriver to be the right size for the smaller screws, #P2 for the cam-locks which hold the main body of the cabinet together (typical flat pack assembly). My screwdrivers are magnetic, which for this project was very useful. I would definitely buy another River Ridge product.

Had high hopes but the pre-drilled holes were defective and some dowels punched right through the side. Super cheap material. Only gave an extra star because customer service was understanding and gave me a full refund and I didn't have to return it. It's going in the trash.

Damaged. It is a pain to return a heavy item. I will take the loss
