Excellent
This book is very well researched, structured and articulated. A tragedy and example of injustice and corruption that continues today. Anyone following North American history would find this a compelling read but I would recommend this book to anyone.

Chirs Enss is awesome!
I am so excited about this book! Chris Enss is a classmate of mine...it's going to be a movie! So proud of her. I sent this book as a gift to my mom for mother's day.

Kind of a comical yet serious book. I think the story line could have gotten a lot deeper. Book is only about 125 pages long.

Baseball, Love and Honor
This is a story that reveals a slice of American culture that is simple and honest and illustrates the ethics of the West at a time and place away from urban chaos. It’s also a story about baseball and the unifying nature of the game running through our history. The best part of the book are the questions being laced through the story which are slowly revealed and culminate in yet again a simple answer of love and honor. Buy the book. You’ll love it.

Homerun
If you cant fathom that baseball could be used as a leverage against convicts in a state penitentiary, then this is the book for you, The setting is the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins around 1911. Corruption and coersion forced the inmates that were on the prison baseball team to, literally, play for their lives. I recommend reading the book to find out what happened. Chris Enss and Howard Kazanjian have written a grand-slam that is both educational and entertaining. Rodger Southard

Couldn't put it down
I'm a big sports fan but I don't read much. When I picked up this book for a work trip, I couldn't put it down. Great history lesson and a good story line. Keeps you on the edge of your seat while also learning a thing or two. It's a quick read which for me was good but it made me beg for more. Thank you for a good read!
