Pilot Multi-Pen Body, Hi-Tec-C Coleto 500, White Body (LHKC-50C-W)

I have been using the Pilot Multi-Pen, Hi-Tec-C Coleto 1000 for years in my job as a nurse, and it has truly been a game-changer for my charting tasks. Pros: • Versatile Multi-Pen: This pen allows me to switch between different ink colors quickly, which is incredibly useful for color-coding my notes and charts. • Precise Writing: The 0.3mm size ink is perfect for fine, detailed writing. It helps keep my notes clear and legible, even in small spaces. • Customizable: I love that I can customize the pen with different ink colors and sizes. This flexibility means I can tailor it to my exact needs. • Comfortable to Use: The design is ergonomic and comfortable for long periods of writing, which is essential for my long shifts. • Reliable Performance: Over the years, I’ve found this pen to be consistently reliable. It writes smoothly without skipping or blotching. Cons: • Ink Capacity: The ink cartridges are small, so they need to be replaced fairly often with heavy use. • Price: It’s a bit more expensive than standard pens, but the quality and convenience justify the cost. Overall, the Pilot Multi-Pen, Hi-Tec-C Coleto 1000 has made my charting life so much easier. I can’t go to work without one. If you’re looking for a high-quality, customizable pen for precise writing tasks, I highly recommend it!

I have been using the Pilot Coleto pens for a few years, and this barrel seems to be the sturdiest one I've come across so far. I have had no luck with the 5-slot barrels that I've purchased here on Amazon, typically sold as a 3-pack, or in conjunction with the refills (usually a refill set of 15 colors); they seem to be made of thin plastic that feels like it will break where the top portion is connected to the lower portion (and it has). Not this 4-slot barrel, though. This one is constructed way better than some of my 3-slot barrels; it feels slimmer, but sturdier. An added bonus that I really appreciate is the rubbery section where the fingers actually hold the pen: it just feels better while writing, rather than just holding plastic (just a quirk of mine, as I am left-handed and a bit particular with what works for my odd ways of holding pens). Highly recommended.

I have quite a few customizable multi pens. This is another winner. If you take care on lining up the refills, you can get them all to pop up easily. There is a little notch on the topper that goes in first. Make sure it is lined up, it’s part be feeling, and it will pop open and closed easily. Do this for each one. The topper being part of the refill is the main advantage of a Coleto. The cap, if opened carefully, will be fine. However, it could be seen as the not so advantageous. Too much force might eventually break it. So far, all my Coleto pens are fine.

Simple and sturdy pen

Great upgrade to the previous body styles! This body has a button to open the top of the pen to add the refills which previous styles did not have. I hope this button will prevent the cap from breaking off as has been the case for 2 other Coletos i owned. They also got rid of the rubber grip which in my opinion is a good choice since the rubber has always worn off for me and quickly becomes a nuisance! Cant think of anything wrong with this body, has been improved in all aspects and the finish on the pen is a nice touch.

I like this pen body so much I am rebuying it for the 3rd time. I love these pens, but I just wish the clip/lid were a little more durable. That isn't to say it's a bad pen body, I am just overly rough with my pens from constant I.T. work exposure. When I keep it in my pencil bag, it lasts forever, but if it goes into my pocket and I start moving around and installing servers, chances are the clip/lid can break. Just a heads up!

My husband took a recent trip to Japan and brought back some pens back. I soon realized that they were in fact just the pen bodies without the ink, so I went on Amazon to look up for refills. I was so in love with this style of pen that I started looking for more bodies to put my extra Pilot Hi-Tech C Coleto refills in. I LOVE the color of this pen. Very pretty pink, comfortable to hold and have had no issues so far. My only complain is the price. It is my opinion that is a little bit overpriced but other than that, Im happy with this pen body, the color, confort. DOES NOT COME WITH THE INK

I consider myself a connoisseur of multi-pens and this one is my favorite. I have two of this body, one in coral and one in white, for personal and professional writing respectively. The body is easier to handle than the 5-color Coleto pen body I bought first. Compared to other multi-pen body options, I prefer this one for the quality and wide selection of ink colors (purchased separately). Highly recommended!

Cute pen but it has no cartridges. How does one sell a pen without ink?

コレトは使いやすくていつも持っていますが、オレンジははじめてこちらで見つけました。鞄の中でもすぐ見つけられる明るい色でお気に入りです。

Great pen, I haven't used for prolonged continuous writing session so comfort may be an issue. But, over the past few weeks the ink hasn't skipped for me, which annoys the heck out of me when it happens with other pens. The other thing I love about this is the ease in which I can switch out the pen cartridges, as with other multi color pens where it is a pain. Overall great pen I use it almost everyday.
