Care Free Curl Gel Pomade, 3.5 Ounce

This is the best hair gel that I have found for my coarse straight hair. I use very little of it and it will keep my hair in place, all day long. It does not flake nor does it feel oily. It is somewhat waxy on your hands but you can wash out the wax on your hands after application easily with simply water. I bought 4 cans of it so I can share them with my family and relatives.

This product is AMAZING.I have really curly hair and it works wonder! It eliminates the frizz and gives a really good smooth to your hair. My hair is usually out of control but this product gives my curls a form and it holds curls like never before.Also, a little goes a long way! Great stuff!Cons:- it comes a small jar.- gel is sticky and works only when you damp your hair. This product wouldn’t work well on dry hair.

My local Walmart quit selling this product. Came online to buy it. Love the product. Only issue is this advertised a pack of 6. My order showed up with 5 cans. Lame. Other than the missing last can, i love it.

I am very impressed by the quality of this product. This is a Gel Pomade and the consistency is very nice for a light, yet firm hold. It also has a pleasant clean smell! Lastly I really like the packaging of this product. It is in a sturdy black plastic jar with an airtight twist on top which makes it very ideal for traveling.

When I first opened the package the grease was all over the package. It seems like it was opened already. I want a refund for this product and I’m willing to return.

I'm a white guy with thick, wavy-ish hair and this stuff does nothing but make me look like I haven't showered in a week. The first time I ran my fingers through this stuff I thought it seemed a bit too thin to do much for me but I figured what the hay, let's see what it does when it's dry. The answer? Nothing. It just coagulates into a thin nasty grease that does nothing to keep your hair in place. My hair ends up bunching into thick strands and going wherever it feels like after a mere hour or two. I've read a lot of positive reviews on this product and some negative ones with whispers of a possible formula change. If that's the case then I definitely have gotten the post-change can from here and my local corner store. I can't speak to other hair types but if you've got thick, wavy white guy hair then stick to the sportin' waves gold can or spend the extra 10 bucks on some Layrite or Bonafide. You'll thank yourself later when your hair doesn't look like a messy pile of grease.

I used this for a while and was happy. It will keep your hair exactly how you want it. If you use a generous amount your hair will be a rock even on the windiest of days. It does have a pretty greasy look to it which isn't very pleasing.
