The Poetry of W. H. Davies: "A poor life this if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare" Paperback – 1 Aug. 2017

I bought the book for just one poem (guess which one) which i have now read a couple of dozen times already.I'm not a poetry person - school English Literature lessons made sure of that, but sometimes you read stuff that hits the spot.

The poetry is delightful but this particular version is ruined by lack of proof reading. It's full of typing errors and misprints, and the layout is poor. The whole production is really amateur. It made me angry and there was no pleasure in reading it, Waste of money!

print is a bit small

Enjoyable reading.

Nothing wrong with the poetry, but the quality of the production was poor. The print size particularly small and difficult to read. The book cover thin a very poor. General appearance of a school project produced on a cheap printer.

Liked that it was a slim volume of his poems. Did not like the small print and felt poems were too crammed together.

I love poetry and the poetry of W H Davies is particularly poignant for someone who enjoys nature and seeing the world in great detail. Highly recommended
