Brought this for my 89 year old dad, he loves it

I have just started on this picture. There are instructions with the kit they are on the box it come in. Problem was they stuck del labels on top of them so I had to go on the internet for some tips. The canvas came creased. I sent a message to the supplier who replied very quickly with instructions on how to deal with the problem. Thank you to them. Iv never done one of these before. the brushes that come in the kits are ok but could do with being firmer. So as some of the parts are very small I am useing some chop sticks sharpened in a pencil sharpener. Or tooth pics will do. One of the tips from Internet if your right handed start from top left work your way down. Opposite for left handers.I have found the more I do and the more the picture starts to develop the more I want to do. Its very addictive and quite relaxing. If you smudge a bit don't worry let it dry and overpaint the smudge with the appropriate colour. I have found as some of the parts are so small I'm having to use a magnifying glass to identify them. When finished this is going in our conservatory. WE allready have the Frame for it.As I said above patience is required but im enjoying this and just can't out it down.Problem I have run into trying to finish this picture is some off the pots of paint were very low and im running short on some of the colours. Some of the pots were full to the top and ware very creamy and paint beautifully. The low ones seem to be a bit dry and are difficult to paint. Is it possible to get some more pots if needed.I contacted the supplier who ask me to send them the order number and pictures of the empty pots stating they would send me new pots that were low and dry. They then said they could not replace the the dry pots because they were not from their factory. I gave after that as I did not understand the comment. It was obvious they were not interested. I have struggled on and nearly finished but it has been very difficult with the dry pots. Mixing them with a very small drop of water get them working buy obviously it weakens the colour. So if you purchase one of these check all the pots to make there not dry or low in paint if they are return immediately and insist on a new one.

This is a great picture which looks stunning completed. Im not sure it would be suitable for beginners as there are quite intricate parts with very small areas to be painted. Great value for money, I will definitely be buying more from the range.

Perfect gift, perfect date night idea, perfect for anyone really! Tiny tiny sections but worth persevering!

We bought this as a fun activity for date night and now 6+ months later still have not finished it. I don't think we will finish it. The spaces are too small and just so intricate. Def not an easy fun activity for couples or singles if you are not talented at painting. I would not buy it again even though the completed picture must be pretty. Just don't habe the patience or time or interest complete it anymore.
