... to give my cats a place to sit with me. I live in a tiny home and don't have a sofa. I sit in an armchair when working on my computer, watching TV, or relaxing. This gives my cats a comfortable "extension" to my chair so they can nap next to me. It assembled fairly quickly for me (working alone) but would have been a bit easier with a second person to help hold things in place while screwing the components together. The instructions were straightforward, and I probably could have figured it out without them. When assembled, the cat bed is sturdy, and does not fall over, even when the cats get the zoomies and play roughly on it. It has a nice wide surface, and is big enough that my two 9 lb cats can nap on it together. I love that the bed surface is removable and washable. My cats took to it immediately and really like it. So we're all happy. Recommended if you have a small space or for a similar use.

I was looking for a more compact cat condo because my other one was just oversized and my cat only liked to lounge on two areas. This cat condo fit the bill in terms of size. Assembly took about 20 minutes and I was a little disappointed that the covering of the cube was attached via velcro. It is quite sturdy although misleading. My cat is medium size (~10 lbs) but very long. I read some of the reviews and looked at the pictures thinking my cat would be OK with this tree given his size. He enjoyed sitting on the bed up top but cannot fit comfortably in the cube. He does have a penchant for small spaces but it was sad trying to watch him fit in tight spaces. Overall, this is a good cat condo but probably not worth the $50ish I paid for it. I’d recommend it for kittens or smaller cats.

My cat absolutely loves this! It sits by the window that faces the street, and he watches all the neighbors, birds and the cars go by. "Bug" weights about 18 lbs. and it is sturdy enough to hold his weight and not fall over as he jumps up and down. Also, verry easy to assemble. Great Price!!

Edit: I made this review on January 13th, it is now March 7th. The base and the “trunk” is getting very wobbly, even though I fixed the bolts or whatever they are, as tight as I could when I assembled this. And OF COURSE the one time I throw something away, I need it. I threw away the tool they give you to tighten these and nothing I have fits this weird hole. So then I tried to drill screws into the base and that’s not helping the wobbliness either. Very frustrated. I’m so happy I bought this! The wood is sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap at all, the fabric is nice and I love that the bottom of the bed has a little bit of extra fabric, which is scrunchy and wraps around the wood base! The cat that is in these pictures is probably 11 or 12lbs, she did a full leap onto this thing and it never even wobbled, the bed never slid off either! I was honestly impressed in the moment lol. Not that this necessarily matters to the cats, they don’t seem to care, but the bed does not have a lot of cushion. My other cat has taken it over during the work day - I work from home permanently and I’ve found that it’s the exact same height as my office chair, so he sleeps in it all day by my side. It is a perfect addition to the cat room!

I got this for my 19lb Maine Coon who loves cat beds, but overflows most of them. He's polydactyl and so needs even more scratching than the average cat. I will be honest, for the size and price, I expected something that felt a bit inexpensive. This doesn't, and in fact, feels really sturdy. When he jumps on and off this, the floor shakes, but the cat bed does not. The scratching surface is big enough to give him plenty of space for all those toes, and he's able to get good traction with it. I particularly like that the cat bed attaches to the platform with an elastic edge (like a fitted sheet) so it won't be any problem at all to remove it and wash it. It wasn't very difficult to assemble at all. I have pretty good assembly skills, and this was much, much easier to put together than, say, a set of kid's bookshelves. I didn't time it, but think it took between 10-15 minutes between unpacking the pieces and installing it in my cat's space. Will be buying another one for my other cat (who is 15 lbs).

My cat loves it right away. But the bed absolutely won't fit. It still works just sitting on tower.
