Sports car of blenders
The high-end styling makes this blender the sportiest looking kitchen appliance. The capacity is larger than most blenders. The pulse options are super. One offers an automatic blade spin with pulses timed to allow ice chunks to settle and meet the blade. The other allows the cook to take control. The four speeds for blending meet my needs. Appearance and performance--just what you expect from a blender that looks this cool.

Bell' Antonio
The "missus" wasn't happy with the blender I had, a Kenwood. It was ugly, she said, and it didn't match with the kitchen... So I searched for a beautiful blender. It took me hours but I believe I browsed through all blenders available on Amazon UK. This Bugatti Vela is likely to be the most beautiful, smart looking blender that there is. It looks really stunning and it is a perfect aesthetic match for the kitchen. I took a picture of the kitchen worktop and the blender looks as if had been made for that worktop. Great, right? Not really. It blends well, it is powerful but silent enough. Unfortunately, It has two serious problems:It is b..... difficult to insert the jar on the motor base. I used it practically every day in the past five months. I only didn't use the blender when I had to travel for work a couple of times and during two short holidays. Every single time, that is, about 100 times at least, I had to try up to eight times to place the jar inside the motor base so the blade unit is perfectly assembled with the jar. Otherwise, the blender won't work as there is a safety lock. I tried all sorts of positions. I looked for matching symbols on the jar and the base but they don't exist. I looked inside the motor base, trying to find a logical way to match the jar with the base. I didn't find anything. After removing and inserting the jar inside the motor base several times until it finally works then I also had difficulty to remove the jar from the motor base. Quite often I had to try six, seven times. Many times I had to control myself and stopped short of just throwing the thing on the floor. But I am no Hollywood star and can't afford fits of anger. The blender costed me £170!The blender is also difficult to wash because it is really difficult to release the blade from the jar.I used this blender during five months. It was a constant battle to make it work and then to remove the jar from the motor base. I tried and tried this long because of love. It was a proof of love. I use the blender to do a smoothie for me and a juice with supplements for my lady. She agreed that it wasn't possible to use this blender anymore so I called Amazon, explained my drama and they were good enough to accept this awful piece of work back for a full refund. This Bugatti Vela blender is a clear choice of form over function. It is just ridiculous the way this blender was designed. Life is too short to spend time on such a poorly designed blender.I watched a video on youtube showing how to use this blender. It was made by Bugatti itself. They don't show the model placing the jar in the motor base and blending a fruit salad straight away. They also don't show the model removing the jar from the base after the blending. Those two parts are skipped in the video. It tells a lot. This Bugatti blender reminds me of the "Bell' Antonio" , an excellent novel by the Italian writer Vitaliano Brancati. The book was adapted to the screens with Marcello Mastroianni and Claudia Cardinale. It is a shame but it is one of those films that , for some unknown reason, you just can't find on dvd (and much less on bluray) despite those two big stars from the Italian cinema. There are some copies available but they are all of very poor quality. The English translation of Brancati's book is called "Beautiful Antonio". It was published by Penguin in the UK . The book tells the story about this beautiful young man, so beautiful that he drove women crazy, desperate. But he had a problem: He couldn't function...

Part Missing
Bought this blender for a Christmas present for my son. Sadly I had to return it for a refund as it couldn't be assembled due to a missing part.

Parts Missing!
We bought the blender to match the kettle and toaster also from Bugatti. Sadly with the blender there was a part missing which stops the content of the blender from spilling out. Therefore we cannot use it as it will make a terrible mess! Very disappointed!!

Beautiful and functional
It looks stunning. Yes it was expensive. But I'm hoping it lasts a good few years to get the value from it. But other blenders I have always put away in the cupboard but this one sits on my work top looking stylish.oh yeah and it works like a dream

Ottimo frullatore
