Easy to change. It just unplugs and you plug the new one in. Safety first, I shut the circuit breaker off before I started to ensure the power was off.

Woked and cheaper and easier than installing new pole light
I already bought a sorta expensive pole light led bulb so I didn't want to just replace the whole light fixture with a new led light. THis photo controller worked perfectly and I expect it will keep going for many years like the previous one did.
