A lace brace was recommended by surgeon following a tendon rupture. Concur it is the best brace I've used to date. Provides support, comfortable, and seems to help with ankle stability pretty well. Depending on severity, this may be your best starting point for a good ankle brace. It may impact footwear for on top of foot due to lacing, so just keep in mind might lose some options.

You need these for front row playing, these are great for saving you if you tweak or sprain your ankle. They have a piece of plastic in the sides to help protect ankles! Works great

This brace is decent quality. The doctors I see suggest these anyways. As long as you get the right size the fit is good. Its not too bulky. Nor is it uncomforatable. My only issue is the seem with upagainst the lower ankle seems to tear and seperate often. But I purchase these all of the time.

There is a lot of secureness with this item. Velcro in three places on top of the laces. Holds my ankle in good so I am able to do my speed walking. I would recommend as it was recommended to me as well.

Large for size 9 women foot fits better than whatever the doctor gave. You measure around your heel to top of foot. Good support.

My daughter plays volleyball and this is a game changer for her. She has a weak ankle from a previous injury and this has given her that extra protection. Def will be buying another one for back up. It is easy for he to put on and lace up quickly. The velcro closure ensures that the laces stay tied as well.

Xxs fits my foot perfectly. I wear a size 5 to 6 in womens (depending on the brand) and it helps with the pain I have in my foot from an injury. It's also way cheaper than what the doctors office was going to charge me. However, it smells like an awful perfume fragrance and I can't stand it. I have ordered other things from Amazon and they have smelled the same. I'm not sure what they're doing to the products. Even the outside packaging of food items smells the same. I have to let this air out before I can wear it. I needed this brace to wear immediately, too. This is frustrating.

One of the few braces that stabilizes my ankles and I feel like I have tried them all. I have sprained both ankles repeatedly over the years and need to wear braces on both ankles when walking, running, or doing any sort of physical activity now. This brace provides stability. Yes, it is bulky but it works.
