Very good fit on my 45 Colt Bisley Blackhawk.The mount saddles the revolver top strap with no slop and there is a protrusion that fits into the rear sight cut out. The base is tight fitting and fairly secure before screws are installed.Very well made, no rough or sharp edges.

comes with screws but doesn't tell you what thread they are. when I went on their web site I noticed that it was a common problem and that many people were trying to find out thread pitch and where they could get a tap. They did get back quickly but they could eliminate all the problems with a little more information. All information given is assuming you have a complete machine shop at your .disposal. It's not that tough throw away the package screws go to home depot get a common pitch screw and tap and bit mount away,

Easy to mount and very solid. Just need drilled and tapped holes in your frame. I recommend it if you want an optic on your Blackhawk.

It mounted easily and now I have a red dot site mounted.

I really like this mount. I had a local gunsmith drill and tap my new ruger Blackhawk. Sighted it in last Friday and really like it with my new ultra dot 25.

This is a excellent base. Just wish you didn't have to drill the weapon. It is being matched up with a Burris pistol scope
