Versatile and taste good.
These little guys are firm, with good texture and nice smoky flavor, not overpowering though. They are quite tasty and go equally well tossed in a salad, on crackers (with or without hot sauce),or tossed in a pasta dish. I really like the Polar brand they are very consistent and I have never gotten an "off" tasting oyster. My only complaints, and thus the 4 stars instead of 5, are I would like to see less sodium if possible. I know 230 mg in the can is not a lot, unless one is watching the amount of sodium they can have. I am also not a fan of cottonseed oil (although it is a thousand times better than Canola oil) but, since I rinse the oysters before eating them anyway it doesn't leave any flavor altering residue behind so I can deal with both the salt and Polar's oil choice.

Oysters are very good. The cans are cheaply made and the peel back mechanism breaks off and the other tools needed to open the cans.

PERFECT SNACK FOOD!
OIL IS LIGHT. MEDIUM SIZE OYSTERS. SMOKE IS LIGHT. LIKE TO PAIR THESE WITH RITZ SNACK SIZE CRACKERS. PERFECT. OR WHIPPED CREAM CHEESE. TOOK THESE ON A CAMPING TRIP AND THY WERE A HIT!!
