I’d fill my one liter stainless steel water bottle with lake water. Pop in one tab. Agitate/shake periodically while waiting 30 mins. Water smelled fresh (kinda like a faint pool water smell). Drank it. Had several liters over the weekend camping trips. No issues. A great backup to have in your backpack.

I dont know if it helps but if I feel I ate something bad or maybe a cold starting these seam to help take the edge of especially if you get food poisoning. I used these in the backcountry for the first time yesterday and have no reason to believe they aren't effective. There is a mild chlorine taste but it's minimal and fully masked by any electrolyte powder or anything of that sort. My main issue with this is that I don't find the packaging convenient or intuitive, especially for the environment I was using them in. The pills are small and it's hard to identify where they are in the pouch / figure out exactly where to open it. I crushed one pill on accident trying to open it and lost another.

But as back up for mechanical water, purification absolutely works as it’s supposed to. I’ve used it many times. It is a great backup to have

Used these on our 20 mile Half Dome hike in Yosemite. These worked perfectly for our group of 6. Added some flavored electrolyte powder for taste. Easy to pack and should be included in every hiking kit, no matter the duration.

Aún no me veo en una situación en las que tenga que probarlas, pero al menos el empaque me dejó satisfecho pues están individualmente bien empacadas, así que espero no ir a tener problemas con ellas en una emergencia.

El producto llegó a tiempo y fue tal cual como lo solicitamos. Buscarlo directo en tiendas es difícil por lo que la compra por Amazon fue una excelente idea.

Son una buena opción para emergencias. Por su tamaño son muy prácticas y prácticamente no ocupan espacio, ideales para llevar en una mochila. Tienen fecha de caducidad prolongada y en mi caso llegaron en su empaque original y caja cerrada, lo cual da confianza. Son una solución sencilla cuando no se tiene acceso a agua potable. El sabor del agua puede cambiar ligeramente, como es normal en este tipo de tratamiento, pero cumplen su función. No sustituyen un sistema de filtración más completo si el agua está muy sucia, pero como método de desinfección funcionan bien. Son un buen complemento para un kit de purificación de agua en una mochila de emergencia.
