I had another ring light before this, and I have to say this version is incredible in comparison! The color options and variety of brightness is amazing-- There are so many modes to choose from! It was super easy to put together and the remote works amazingly. I think it is definitely worth the price!

It worked great & then quit, BUT the company sent me a new one immediately. It has a lifetime warranty so you can’t go wrong. Light is very good.

Simple to use, cost effective, amazing lighting, makes photography and videoing great at nights, light comes with multiple selective colors, Bluetooth accessibility for camera and it has a sturdy tripod.

Update: was offered a refund or a new light by the company. I took them up on a new light because I do really like the quality of the light when it works. Since they haven't asked for a return, I have repurposed the old stand as a 2nd very sturdy webcam stand. The telescopic nature, and turn radius is really helpful. Honestly a great value for the prices. Original review: Works great until it doesn't. 8 months is all I got out of it.

It works well. It's very light. You will need to have a thin phone case or no phone case to keep the phone from falling. All the functions work well. Lights are very bright and can smash be turned down. I would recommend for the price. It's not too big and bulky. Easy to use.

EDIT: 2 years in and the light is completely dead. Will not turn on anymore. It hadn’t taken any tumbles recently or anything, just came back from my vacation and it was no longer functional. I plugged it into a different usb slot and managed to get it to turn on a few more times, but now we’re back to nothing. So I guess the lifespan is between 1-2 years depending on usage. I used it a lot, but I was hoping for something that was a longer term solution. Original: Been using this for over a year now so I can say confidently that It’s a solid light. I use it as a lamp because I don’t have a light fixture in my office for some reason, and this was a cheap and fun solution with color and brightness customization. Doesn’t get hot or smell weird or anything like that. Was very easy to set up. My cat has gotten tangled in the chord a few times and taken it down, due to his own stupidity, but any dangly is going to be tempting for tiny fluffy idiots. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

Even a slight bump could knock it loose, so I would not fully trust it without extra support. The tripod height ranges from about 18 inches at the lowest to just under 5 feet at the highest, which gives a lot of flexibility for different setups. The tripod itself is light and feels somewhat plastic, so while it is easy to carry, it does not have that heavy-duty feel. I was going to give build quality a 4, but the light hollow feel brings it closer to a 3. The lighting is where this set really shines. You get multiple solid color options and dynamic RGB modes, plus warm, white, and daylight settings. The brightness can be adjusted smoothly in most modes, though when RGB is set to dynamic, you cannot change the brightness.
