Great piece of kit for your smart home. Easy to install, easy to set up.App is brilliant, Alexa integration works 100 percent so far.One star off as it would benefit from more additional controls, electrical underfloor heating is a major omission for the UK market. But everything they claim will work, DOES work.Top marks for the installation instructions, providing them through the app brings the whole install and setup process together. A monkey with a screwdriver and the app could install this. And I know, I am one.

I bought several Tado products and will copy and paste the sae review for all as they are all potentially great, however equally let down by the poor customer service and tech support.It all started off by the being recommended the wrong products by Tado via their customer helpline (over email). So we got off on the wrong foot, however in all honesty it took two weeks to work out that we didn’t have the correct appliances.Set up was simple enough. We bought 8 individual items for the different rooms of our house – a couple didn’t work, however Amazon were great at replacing. I wish Tado had the same customer service as Amazon!We have had various issues throughout from being recommended the wrong products, to some not working, to others stopping working for no reason.I am understand that these things happen and I’m OK with that, however what I have found most frustrating is that it is impossible to speak to anyone. The only way to communicate is via email or web chat…however it takes 24-48 hours to get a response. As a result a simple conversation where a question is asked, a response to that is provided which leads to another question can take a week or two. As mentioned, it took 2 weeks to diagnose that we didn’t have the correct products.I’m fine with the incorrect recommendation (be it as a result of miscommunication or misunderstanding), what has really frustrated me through this process is how long everything takes. The whole point of these tech products and services is that things operate seamlessly, however its been completely the opposite with Tado.The product (when it works) is first rate, however the service is poor, poor, poor. Unfortunately, one without the other is worthless.

A great thermostat, the app loads fast (so much faster than Nest), it easy to use with a slider to change temp not a dial (come on Nest, do some UX research). The Nest I had previously was over-reading the temp as well.The thermostat itself is very understated but with a decent app you'll never really need to touch it. The schedules are easy to set, there's a lot of measurements available about air quality as well. With my Nest I always switched off the heating manually every night as it would often come on in the middle of the night (I never have heating on overnight).My main reason to move away from Nest was its acquisition by Google. I have moved to a Google-free Android phone and I could not log in to the Nest app. The Tado app works fine, although I did have to sign up on the web first.

Not that easy to install but follow the install guides and you won't be disappointed... Looks great on the wall and the App works well also you don't need a subscription to control your house but there are paid for extras if you want! Highly recommended

HATE it! Boiler part Keeps losing connection to wireless dongle and heating goes off!🤬Or when I CAN get it working, heating is on blast on full at 2-7am when SUPPOSED to be off!No rhyme or reason to it!!Troubleshooting is crap.Only when you get the damn thing and struggle with install and spend ages online trouble shooting do you realise the position of your boiler, wireless router and Control thermostat have to be is some exact astrological alignment to work!!My boiler is at one end of my house, my thermostat in the middle, and my wireless hub the other end of the house.Suspect I am going yo have to move my hib to get this sorted .... NOT an easy job! Not looking forward tto rewiring my entire house network and ethernet cables that run through my ceilings and loft🤬Going to have to get a specialist and my IT guy in to sort this damn thing out😡NOT the easy install they advertise!! (My plumber wired in the boiler bit, but had no clue ref wireless rules for this!Please be advised:,Distance between and location of the the 3 main components is critical (I find out after 2 mths trying to get the damn thing working😡😡)It is 2 degrees outside! Been awake from 4-7am now, freezing! Am in bed, wearing a big fleece trying to stay warm!NOT a happy customer🤬

Fantastic product to bring an old home up to today’s standard. Easy to fit following the bespoke instructions from Tado customer services, I did have a couple of hiccups, but that was down to not fully reading the instructions. Integrates really well with Alexa and Apple home, even without these the simple but smart looking interface really sets off our front room and looks so much smarter that the old wired thermostat it replaces, it’s understated but we feel it compliments our decor. The app even feeds back on air quality outside your home and moisture content etc inside your home. We are glad we decided on Tado and happy with it so far 👍👍

Absolutely brilliant. Much easier to install than I expected, very accurate, great app, great tech support.Got this and some radiator valves in an Amazin sales promotion. Set up really easily with the app taking you thought step by step. The level of control you get when combined with just a few controlled radiators is fantastic. Not tried the Alexa/Google Home connection as Tado's app provides extremely fine control but it looks like it should integrate perfectly.
