I was almost finished with the rug - and I ran out of the background color. I ended up having to use yarn from another rug kit -- and mixing in a similar color. It ended up looking ok, but it was a present, and I didn't have time to complain and wait for more yarn. You couldn't see the pattern on the canvas very well, but the colors did match the grid, but I ended up having to keep counting out the colors/rows as I went. It made it harder to do than if you could see the pattern on the canvas. At least all of the yarn fit the canvas and it was easy to work on without having to tug and force too thick yarn through a small canvas hole

This is the second kit I’ve gotten, first was from a different seller, but the guide doesn’t match up with the canvas. Which is okay some of the time when the colors on the canvas are clear enough to know which color is to which, but a lot of the time there are two colors for each spot. This kit was also missing an entire color. I ended up just ordering the color from a site that sells individually wrapped colors for projects like this. I’m sure it’ll turn out fine but it was a little disappointing.

Love this kit! Initially a pack of yarn was missing, but the seller was responsive in making sure I got the needed materials.

This is a fun project, really cute.

I like the cats. I made it for a friend. He will hang it up.
