It is one of the best electrical tapes I have ever used and it exceeded my expectations in every way. One of the main reasons I purchased this tape was for its durability. Little pricey though well worth it. Why skimp on a cheap tape when it comes to protecting live wires? Very durable and great adhesion.

Just tape

I thought all electric tapes are similar and it did not matter who the maker was. But I was wrong. Previous tapes purchased from Amazon and Home Depot performed poorly or were inconsistent in terms of performance: the tapes did not adhere well; they were hard to cut; they did not hold well when stretched; and etc. . This purchase from 3M was different. It comes off relatively easily. It cuts easily with regular sharp scissors. It stretches without snapping. It manages to adhere well even after stretching. It wraps around well and sticks well. You can apply multiple times on top of layers and the tape will still adhere well. It works well in all ways. . My advice for using: Use sharp scissors. Do not handle too much. Make sure your hands are clean. Make sure your scissors are clean. Stretch the tape while still on the roll as your apply and then cut. If you have to apply the tape on top of a previous layer, be sure to press it down well with a blunt object. . Well priced. Sized right. Would buy again.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

Classic 3M quality — this electrical tape sticks well, stretches nicely, and holds up even in warm conditions. I used it for both car wiring and small home repairs, and it performed great. Doesn’t leave sticky residue when removed. Definitely my go-to electrical tape.

I listened to a podcast that said to use electrical tape on all light sources on small electronics in your bedroom to make your bedroom as dark as possible so that you can sleep better. For example, I have a white noise machine in the bedroom that emits a small green light when it is on. There were four small lights in my bedroom that added too much light in my bedroom at night. I decided to purchase this tape for that purpose. The tape was good quality and really dark black that it worked to cover up the light that’s emit on small electrical devices in the bedroom. The bedroom is now pitch black thanks to this tape.
