Easy to put on! Fantastic traction!
I have a disability involving my back. I stay as active as possible which is part of taking care of myself and staying mobile in spite of my injury. I trail walk daily with my dog and winter in my area can be difficult. We've had snowstorm after snowstorm recently and the trails have become pretty icy. These ice/snow cleats have been amazing! I have worn theses for 4 hikes so far and each time they have kept me from slipping at all, even on ice. They go on really easy and seem true to size. I wear a 9.5 shoe/boot and purchased a medium. I continue to check them for wear and tear after each use and so far they look perfect. They also come with extra traction inserts which is great! Highly recommend!!!

Easy to apply, prevents falls on ice and snow
I keep a pair in my SUV in the winter, and slip them on my shoes or boots to prevent falls on parking lots or icy surfaces. They work great, they are durable and long lasting. Must be removed when entering stores because the tacks on the tread is slippery on concrete floors. They are easy to remove and replace, and stay in place well.

Works well, might have to readjust depending on the boot
I bought these last year but didn't get a chance to use them until now for this year's winter season in Chicago. My different pairs of winter boots only work so well on snow but when it comes to ice, 50/50 chance I could be okay if walking normal with caution or I might end up slipping. These were a life saver! I put them on, toe part first then the heel and started walking from a friend's house to the train station. The walk mostly had thin and thick patches of ice on the sidewalks and alleyway. The grip actually worked and it was durable enough for my commute back home. It might take some adjustments with the fit depending on what type of boot you're wearing. I was wearing knee high boots at the time so the heel part might feel like its secure but could slip off. I will wear these again with a shorter style boot and see if it makes a differenceOtherwise, this product serves its purpose well and I wish I could've known about this sooner, especially when Chicago had the rare polar vortexes years ago. I would recommend this for everyone

Not sure they'll stay on my boot.
These are really easy to put on my hiking boots, but I have not been able to really use them since we did not get a winter this year. I tried them once, but the ground wasn't icy so I removed them. I am not positive that they will stay on the boots when actual use comes around. But, I do like them. I'm sorry that they seem to assume that cleats will fall off, so they send you a bunch of replacement cleats. I don't think the cleats should come out at all.

They work!
Bought for my friend and trainer who has a stable. Ice has been a problem this year and she has fallen numerous times. Selfishly I need her to be healthy for my riding lessons, so bought the cleats for her to negotiate the icy pastures. She was very pleased, and so far has not gone down again!

Webbing wears well, but...
The studs wear out very fast if you do much walking on pavement. And if you're walking in the city or suburbs, bare pavement is unavoidable in all but the very coldest climates (Fairbanks, AK for instance). Where I live in upstate NY, there's almost always bare pavement on my path. These studs wear out far faster than any I've ever had experience with, so it's really not necessary for them to be this soft. The webbing, however, seems to be very well designed: it doesn't chafe itself to death after a few miles of city walking.Edit: The above is based on the my experience with an earlier purchase of this item. Today I used the newest purchase for the 1st time - a 3 mile walk after a recent snow accumulation (I saved these for when I have to walk on minimum pavement because, as discussed above, the studs wear very fast). The NEW webbing is a lighter gauge than than that of my first pair. The result is, as I found out today, you lose studs and your foot wants to twist out of the webbing. The new rubber gauge is just too flimsy to hold the studs under normal, reasonable use. It's also too flimsy to remain positioned properly on your foot. As far as I'm concerned, these traction aids are virtually useless.

Grips ice remarkably
These were a life saver. They grip the ice amazingly. Easy to put on any type of shoe or boot. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time!
