Consumer psychology 1st Edition

I have a marketing certificate. All these texts are very interesting.

Given that there's only THREE other reviews, I felt compelled to throw my hat in for once.This is a book which I bought towards the start of my Marketing undergraduate degree. Since then, i've completed my MSc and begun my PhD. At every level, I've found this book extremely useful. It's not a big book (only about 200 pages), but its packed full of most of the things which you'll need a grasp of if you're pursuing a undergraduate or masters in Marketing, Applied Marketing, or Consumer Psychology. It's not extensive, but it gives you the bare bones of what you need to know quickly and is a springboard which you can use to find out more about the specific topics you need to know about.As others have said, it's also written nicely and is a pleasure to read. Out of all the textbooks which I own, this is always the one which I open first and it does not fail to disappoint. Others who have this book have always said the same thing. Even better, it's comparatively cheap compared to the prices you'll get charged for buying a textbook new.Just bear in mind that it isn't a textbook replacement. Despite that, it's definitely earned it's place many times over on my bookshelf.

Great book that is well written and easy to read and navigate. Solid content in almost all relevant Consumer Psychology fields, however lacks areas of cognitive psychology! I recently did a coursework for my marketing degree on Consumer Psychology and had to buy another book as this one did not cover really any Cognitive Psychology in its Memory section, even though its very relevant to Consumer Psychology. Otherwise still a very useful book.
