Style Line (STY0701) 6 Piece Soft Sanders Set

I hate sanding, but I really like woodworking. Most of the time, I can tolerate sanding flat stuff and some simple curves with a random orbit sander or bench top belt/spindle sander, but too often there are weird curves and shapes that need sanding and shaping. These foam sanders are wonderful for taking care of those special cases. There are enough different shapes on the 6 pieces to get most whatever you need. The density of the foam seems just right, and the are actually quite comfortable to hold in your hand. I've been using them last week or so for both concave and convex curves, plus they are super for easing sharp edges very quickly. The packages does come with some self adhesive sandpaper, but I expect they would be pricey. I had some big rolls of 120 and 220 grit paper (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JGB6DB1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that work very well with these pads. I still hate sanding, but at least it's a little more bearable.

I love these! They make sanding easier and I’m all for anything that makes sanding easier! Well worth the money

I've used these in my cabinet shop for many years. They are great for sanding molding contours quickly. The only drawback is that if your PSA paper is too sticky, it will peel the surface of the foam off. That having been said, I've had the same set in use for 5 years. Great product.

I know this is meant for woodwork but, we bought them for automotive bodywork. It has been one of the best purchases we've made. It fits body line purfectly. We will be ordering more as they wear out. They are being used in automotive repair shop setting so, they are being used constantly. So, far they are holding up great.

If you have odd shaped corners or contours to sand, these are invaluable. The only knocks are the cost, which is high for something so inexpensive to manufacture, and the durability is not as good as I would like for something so expensive. If they lasted longer I would be OK with the price but they start to deteriorate fairly quickly. Unfortunate since the concert for the product is so good.

I like how flexible the sponge is. It flexes in and around areas, which is great. The only thing I wish it had was a larger broad size for doing large surfaces. But overall, would definitely buy again.
