LIFE CHANGING SHAME on BAD REVIEWS
I don't think the less than high reviews understand this product or what it does. It is a true miracle but please don't judge based on being misinformed. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT MEANT TO OPEN and CLEAR AIRWAYS!! It is designed to stop the problem that "caused" this and prevent it! Since being a child (I am 36 now) I have had chronic sinus issues and "had" to take prescription antihistamines all year along with antibiotics minimal 1 or 2 times a year for a full out infection. I am alergic only to mold and live in Florida so it is a perfect storm every summer with humid / mold ridden air. I discovered the "NetiPot" 6 years ago by watching Dr Oz and that little inexpensive tool changed my life! Using it twice a day created a 90% improvement in symptoms (stuffy nose, itchy throat, burning eyes, total blockage, wheezing, etc)which has allowed me to cut out Alegra 9 months of the year...I still need it July - September. The NetiPot also seemed to cut down on infections but I still had to get antibiotics once a year or so due to a major infection (high fever, chills, nasty stuff, etc) I hate antibiotics as they screw up your gut and have other nasty issues so the research continued. I learned (what my doctor never told me) that often (doctors now think this is like 90%) sinus infections are actually caused by "fungus" in the sinus not "bacteria." The "infection" that causes symptoms is indeed a 2nd bacterial infection that started from the fungus. So the antibiotics kill the bad bacteria which stops the fever, chills, and chronic stuff but also the "good bacteria" in your nose that fights the fungus. Kind of like killing the flora (good bacteria) in your gut which causes fungus (naturally in your gut too but bad stuff) to grow hence the need for pro-biotics only the same thing happens in your sinus as well. So I learned about SeaGate Olive Leaf Spray on a forum 3 years ago and learned the "active" ingredients are antiviral, antifungus, and antimold! I have not had an infection now or needed antibiotics for 3 years which for me is PROFOUND!! I don't use it all of the time but can feel when an infection is starting (extra itch, yellow mucus, tickle in throat, and a life experience of them, etc) I use the NetiPot followed by SeaGate spray in the nose for 2 - 3 days and it has stopped the infection in its tracks every time. It will not "clear" your nose and allow you to breathe (the NetiPot will) but it will kill the infection that caused your issue and prevent future infections! I still have to take allegra as well but very limited during peak seasons only but no antibiotics or infections for me 3 years now is AMAZING!

LOVE IT!
Amazing product! I had a very bad cold. It started in my nose. Within a day it brought the swelling down and by the next day I was breathing again It never travelled to my chest the way it normally does.

If you have allergies, sinus infection, or nose so stuffed you are a mouth breather, this is for you!
I am prone to sinus infections because of my sinus structure.I also am allergic to a ton of airborne allergens, from mold and mildew to tree pollen to grass pollen, to ragweed, to you name it. In short, I have been the Queen of Snots for a large portion of my life, and I have tried so many things to try to solve my problem. Several doctors told me that my only option is having surgery on my sinuses, because the holes for drainage are too small and too high up; I was also told that my nasal passages are uncommonly narrow. But I am really afraid of surgery so close to my brain, and I have been searching endlessly for help. Sudafed works too well that I feel over-dried, but it has side effects, and you have to jump through hoops to buy it. Oxymetalazone (sp?) only works for a couple of days, and then you start producing even MORE mucous. This Olive Leaf Spray solves all my problems. It is not surgical. It is homeopathic, so there is no nasal spray rebound of over-production of snot. You don't have side-effects from taking strong medication like Sudafed. You can't overuse it. It works within minutes. I no longer wake up with leather-mouth caused be being a mouth-breather whilesleeping. In addition to my being totally satisfied with this product, I have given it to both of my parents who are 80+. They both agree this is the best stuff ever. Now I keep extra in the house so I never run out. When I get down to my last bottles, I order more. While this cold-cold-long-cold winter, I have been extra sick but discovering this spray put me on the road to recovery. Further, I don't dread the coming of Spring and things blooming. I believe that everyone's body chemistry is different, and while this works for me and my family, it may not work for you. BUT it is not really expensive and it is worth a try. From the other good product reviews, I suspect this wonderful remedy works for most people.

better, but still not what I really need.
Better than 4 other products I've tried, but does not dissolve dried mucous in nose. This is what I really need. any suggestions?

Works wonders!!
As one of the many nasal decogestants I've tried, this one homeopathic remedy should be one you might find as satisfactory.

A Godsend in a Bottle for Sinus Suffers
If you're reading this review, I have to assume you are going through some similar trials and tribulations with chronic sinus problems. If not, you may wish to skip the graphic detail in this review. (It's necessary to share the severity of the problem I have had in order to describe the benefit this product has begun to impart.) About two decades ago I suffered from chronic sinus/tonsillitis infections. I went on so many courses of antibiotics by the time I entered college that I lost access to just about every antibiotic a doctor could prescribe thanks to dangerous outbreaks of hives. Early on, I kept being misdiagnosed with allergic rhinitis and even went though two years of allergy shots, which did not relieve my symptoms (of which horrible fatigue was a daily reality). It wasn’t until I narrowly missed a traffic accident thanks to peripheral vision loss that I underwent vision tests and an MRI that showed my sinus infection was so severe that the inflammation had impinged my optic nerve (a rare complication of chronic sinus infection). As I have gotten older, problems have crept back up on me despite undergoing two sinus surgeries some 20 years ago. I controlled symptoms successfully for about five years with a Neti pot, but if I skipped a single day's use, I would develop the tale-tale infection symptoms. After I moved to a dry climate, nothing was doing any good anymore. I invested in a whole-house humidifier which at least gave me relief from the 24/7 headaches. But the infection continued to worsen. Finally, I saw an ENT (ear/nose/throat specialist). He ordered a CT scan but was convinced, based on the initial consultation, that I was having allergy symptoms. He told me to use Nasonex, which like the Flonase I had used in the past, ultimately made things worse. (I suspect my infection at this juncture is not bacterial but fungal, for which steroid nasal sprays are akin to piling logs on a fire.) Nonetheless, I was desperate for relief and complied against my better judgment with his Nasonex suggestion. It wasn't until a year later, when I could not longer tolerate the formation of blood clots in my nose, that I obtained a copy of the CT he had ordered. I learned the hard way that it is important to read (request) your own test results as a patient because there are things that can be missed, otherwise. The radiologist very plainly stated I had "sinus disease" but the ENT never told me! This experience suggested that some 20 years later, ENTs don't really have anything new in their tool chest to offer chronic sinus infection suffers. If anything, they have less to offer those of us with sinus disease because they are not as apt to prescribe antibiotics and, even though studies have shown that many sinus infections are fungal in origin, they are reluctant to treat for that too. Why? Because anti-fungal drugs are incredibly hard on the liver and can't be given for any length of time without close monitoring (blood tests), whereas antibiotic resistance is so feared by physicians that, in the words of one doctor I saw, "We don't even prescribe antibiotics for sinus infection anymore except for patients who have a fever." Long story short, I knew I needed another answer — and I was on my own to find it. Having nothing to lose, I purchased this product. While it doesn't immediately unblock a stuffy nose — it is not a nasal decongestant — the results have improved with each passing day of successive use. My guess is that if you suffer seasonal allergies you may not notice a significant improvement — antihistamines will probably be more helpful, in that case — whereas if you have an infection, this product is going to make a difference if you stick with it on a daily basis. Within a week, I can breath better than I could with nasal steroids. Why? Because my nose is no longer being blocked by scabs that were attempting to form around the inflamed tissue. It's too early to tell if this is really a "cure" vs. providing symptomatic relief. Still, this is a godsend in a bottle. Although I am a regular vitamin/supplement buyer, I had never heard of this product and did not stumble across it until I began searching for an alternative to saline nasal sprays here on Amazon. Doctors are understandably reluctant to prescribe antibiotics or antifungals for sinus infections, which are notoriously hard to treat. But rather than ignoring such patients — allowing their quality of life to deteriorate — they should at least be willing to tell their patients about this product. I would encourage anyone who has an experience similar to mine to bring this product to their doctor and suggest that they pass on the word. What I would have given to know that there was something I could do other than saline and suffering!

Recommend to everyone!
We’ve been buying this nasal spray for probably 20 years. Anytime I feel like I’m coming down with something I’ll take it for a day or two and rarely does it turn into a full blown cold. Anytime I get into anything moldy (a rogue moldy hay bale, or my aunts musty basement) I’ll take it and it relieves symptoms so fast.

Olive leaf??
I personally think this product is a waste of money. The active ingredient is wild indigo, not olive leaf . Olive leaf does have antimicrobial/ anti fungal properties, and that`s why I purchased it. So there is a misrepresentation from the manufacturer of this product right there. Wild indigo is an immune stimulant, so I could see taking it by mouth to improve your immune system, but not introducing it into your nasal passages for any kind of effectiveness. Also, if you read the product description it says, "FOR THE TEMPORARY RELIEF of cold and sinus irritations", so for all the reviewers here saying that it takes time to for the product to work because of the underlying cause of your sinus congestion- well, that just doesn`t make any sense! Any ways, I used this as directed for one month and it did nothing for stuffy sinuses. It was in fact no better than saline. 10 dollars is a lot to pay for saline. Basically, what we want is a product that kills off invading pathogens in the nasal passages, which is very hard to find ( even by prescription). The only thing that has helped me, is breathing in the steam from super hot pau d'arco tea ( an anti fungal herb). Done for 5 min everyday, it really works after about 7 days. Not 100 percent clearing but much improvement in breathing through the nose.

Didn’t work for me
I purchased this in hopes it will help with my nasal symptoms. the only thing it seems to do is moisturize the nasal passages. I didn’t notice any other benefits and stopped using it.
