Good enough for smaller areas
Got this delivered per schedule. The spikes are metallic with a plastic base. Base flexes a bit that will be helpful to install on curved surfaces. Works well when the area to be covered is small. Might not be viable to cover larger areas in which case nets would be more practical. Note that the package does not come with any screws or adhesive. Need to get that separately. Double ended strong bond tape should do the trick if screws are not an option.

This is not a humane solution!!How can someone approve this product as it encourages people to be cruel & be harmful to birds...??This is really sad that Amazon is selling such ANTI-SOCIAL products!!
