Perfectly Useful
This is a tiny little pocket knife, and just the perfect thing for someone who wants to be ready for any little event that might come up! It is important to always be prepared. This belief has led me to always have a pocketknife on my person, but in my goings-about I discovered that I also often needed a pen and a notebook, so I started carrying a Fisher Space Pen everywhere, as well as a small notebook. It was occasionally convenient to carry a small flashlight (which can be more maneuverable/helpful than using a cell phone flashlight), so I started carrying one of those, too, and soon my pockets were forever bulging and a-jangle with 4 different items. The Swiss Army Signature Lite is such a wonderful, useful, light, and compact tool! It combines 3 of the most useful items you can carry into one unobtrusive little device. Always at the ready, well-built, and reliable. The small size means it isn't as unsettling to others when you pull a knife out of your pocket, and the little blade is more than capable of doing 95% of whatever a person might need a knife to accomplish. The scissors are robust and the pen writes without streaking or smudging. The light is enough to take care of any brief task, though it should be noted that the button must be depressed to maintain the light You can't click it on and set it aside. Good to reduce flashlight battery drain from being on in the pocket, but it does reduce the usefulness some in the field. The scales are thicker than a typical Swiss Army Knife, obviously to accommodate the pen and the battery. It is somewhat less aesthetically appealing due to this, but it cannot be avoided. I could not be happier with my little knife. It has reduced my pocket load and allows me to be prepared for all the little things that come up in my day. Perfect, perfect, perfect, and worth the cost!

The Swiss Army Classic but with a Pen and Light instead of Tweezers and Toothpick
Most everyone can appreciate having a scissors, nail file, tweezers, small blade to open letters and packages, and toothpick in their pocket, making the Swiss Army Classic perhaps the most popular pocketknife in the world. And, as a wilderness backpacker and camper, I have been a fan of the Swiss Army Classic because the scissors and tweezers add great value for First Aid, and the blade and toothpick as well. This Victorinox model is enhanced with a white LED light (for close-range illumination of dark places or in the darkness) and a small pen - but these replace the tweezers and toothpick. In an actual everyday carry sense, if a person doesn't ordinarily carry a flashlight or pen, this model provides a good set of in-pocket tools, so I replaced my Classic with this model as part of my everyday carry, even carrying it in the wilderness because it is so small and lightweight. However, I still have a Classic in my backpack's First Aid Kit.

EDC, very handy, good quality, and unobtrusive.
When I first got this, I would forget I had it. I wear it on a string around my neck, and it is super handy. I teach clinical classes all over the campus of a hospital, and sometimes I forget to bring a pen. This is no longer an issue. You wouldn't want to write a novel with it but for taking notes or signing out some equipment, it works just fine. The pen writes smoothly with no smudging. The flashlight isn't particularly impressive but provides slightly more light than a note 5 screen on full brightness setting when shined across my dark living room. I've had it for close to a year and use the light occasionally and it is still bright. The sharp little knife, screwdriver/file (protip: the little screwdriver tip is tapered and will work on flatheads and Phillips screws) and scissors are the same quality as on the small SAK with the tweezers and toothpick. It doesn't do any one job as well as any of its full-size counterparts, but it is literally smaller than my pinkie. Everything I own is valuable to me and I baby my things. If you abuse this tool, it will fail. If you are a reasonable person and use this good tool with consideration of its limitations, it will most likely serve you well.

Amazingly usable, good price, good quality
For $20ish, I am extremely impressed with this little knife. The pen comes in extremely handy for anyone who is in a professional setting, the knife is very usable for opening packages, letters, very basic food prep. I've pulled a few splinters out using the tweezers out already and to come probably. I keep it in the little change pocket in my jeans and half the time I have to remember it's there. If you put it on a keychain, it would be excellent for finding a lock, checking stains on cloths in the car, finding that random thing you dropped in the dark. You get victorinox quality in a very economical price point. Pros: *Lightweight *Usable tools for the size *Very nice pen *Bright enough light for minimal tasks *Good package opening blade *Very usable file *A ton of uses for something this small Cons: *Very tiny scissors make it time consuming for cutting papers *Somewhat easy to lose I can't say enough good things about this multitool. This is the second one I've owned, and will probably purchase some as gifts in the future. Highly recommend if you have realistic expectations for a tool this size.

Another winner from Victorinox
I really like having this little guy on me. It's small and light enough to actually leave on a key ring and not worry about. And I don't usually like to put anything on my keys. I don't want them to get big and bulky. This signature is very compact. It's awesome always having a pen and that was the main reason I switched to the signature from my Leatherman Style CS. The Style is also significantly more hefty though it does have a thicker blade and much better scissors. I guess if those two things are the primary reason for carrying the little tool I'd go with the Leatherman. But the Signature has those things AND a pen and a very tiny flashlight. So while the scissors aren't great, the knife is tiny, and the flashlight is very dim it's extremely cool to always have those things with you on your keys. They all work well enough in a pinch for small tasks. And it's built to Victorinox standards. Just know it's very small which limits its capabilities.

Almost perfect
This is a great tool! I love it, but it is not perfect. Sometimes when using, the blade will close on you. I notice this with other Swiss Army knives. Pretty annoying.

I am very happy with this Swiss Army Knife
This Swiss Army Knife arrived very quickly. It has all the features as advertised. They all work very well. Features include scissors, knife, nail file/screwdriver, pen, and flashlight. It is a good small size that fits easily in my pocket. The pen is a great feature; I am never without a pen now. The other tools are very handy to have.

Unique SD model.
As Victorinox continues to dwindle the “lite” models down, this seems to be the last of a line. I like it. But I will probably give it to my wife as she is more of an SD fan. The midnight manager is hard to find but can be made with the correct model and purchased scales. That is more my speed.
