A quality BCAA for every athlete.
Taste: 5/5 I've been using Vintage Build's Essential 3 in 1 BCAA's for about 5 months now. The first big win I noticed is it does not have sugar added. For me, having a super clean diet 7 days a week then using a workout supplement that has sugar is a tough pill to swallow. Vintage Build BCAAs do have stevia as the first ingredient in their formula, but its is much preferred to sugar. Having taken a BCAA for months with sugar (sucralose) - as the only form of sugar I have I soon develop cravings for more sugar. Something I tried to eliminate entirely. Vintage Builds BCAA's taste about as close to "Mixed Berries" as mixed berry flavor can taste, and doesn't leave a filmy aftertaste that some BCAA's do. Some pre-workouts, and BCAA's have a super sweet or "punchy" chemical taste (for lack of a better description). VB is the first product that literally tastes free from unnatural ingredients. Recovery: 5/5 I do a combination of weight training and marathon running so I was happy to read that VB's formula is built around muscle quality (not quantity) and minimal recovery time with improved performance. My pattern over the past five months has been to use one and a half scoops with 12 -25 oz of water when I lift weights. Then I'll use another scoop later in the day with 12 oz of water. I typically lift 6 days a week. When I run I will mix two scoops with 30 oz of water and consume 15 minutes after my run. I run 4 days a week - one day being a long run day (13-26 miles). Two things to note since I've started using BCAA's - 1. its been a while since I've been muscle sore after a workout or run. 2. I'm not exhausted on the days I do long runs after my workout. In the past, I would have to stay out of the gym on my long run days. Also, with VB I have been able to run 24 hours after my long run and not feel muscle fatigue or slower performance in my legs. Muscle Definition: 5/5 This is a tough area to rate. I do take other supplements and whey protein so its hard to see where the gains are with just this product. One thing is true - since taking VB I have had more endurance and faster recovery times which equates to spending less time recovering and more time training. This has directly affected my physique and I'm about as low in body fat percentage as I have ever been. I wanted to wait a few months before writing my review of this product since it can be difficult to make a real assessment in less time. Also, most athletes use BCAA's in conjunction with other workout supplements and noting gains might take more time. It's my experience that this BCAA has been a great compliment to my workout / training schedule and I have already had a Marathon personal record (Boston Qualified in Nov '14) since being on it and am lifting as much/more than I ever have been. Which is tough for runners to lift heavy since we lose so much weight/muscle running long distances. If taken at value - Old Schools motto of muscle quality over quantity seems to hold true here. If you follow the usage directions and workout and/or train aggressively you will go through 1 container in about a month. I'm on my 4th order of VB (since the 5 months ago I started) and would invest in a larger size container for more if it were available. With that said, I have not had a negative experience with this product, and their customer service is top-notch. Eric at Old School checks in with me regularly after I order this BCAA to see how I like it. Old School has developed a good/clean product in their BCAA and athletes who like a natural product should definitely check this out. I'm eager to see what other products Old School Labs will be putting out and will be ordering their 3-in-1 BCAA formula again.

Great results and taste. Top notch product from a company with integrity.
Old School Labs has quickly become one of my very favorite supplement companies. Every aspect of their business is top notch. The Vintage Build may be, in my opinion, their best all around product. Ingredients: Vintage Build contains a blend of BCAA's, Glutamine and Creatine. I love the convenience of this blend, as it essentially saves me from having to buy three separate products. Even better the dosages are designed to actually make a difference in how you feel and train. Particularly the larger amounts of Leucine and Glutamine per serving as opposed to other brands. It's a nice perk too that there's nothing artificial in the "other ingredients" section. I'm not squeamish about some of those things here and there; but if it's something I'm going to take multiple days a week, week in week out it's great that there's not artificial dyes or sweeteners. Taste: I've been stuck on the Fresh Berries flavor since I started using this supplement. It tastes great; very clean but very real berry flavor without being overpowering. I've choked down some supplements in my day; but this is one I would drink just for the taste if I could. Effects: I currently drink the Build as an intra while I train. I definitely notice decreased soreness and better recovery while using it. Waited to reorder once when I was actually out and trained three days without it, had a noticeable increase in DOMS (not explainable by training variation in this case). Have been on a higher volume block the last six weeks and have noticed some great size gains with this product. Customer Service: Everything Old School Labs says about producing quality products with integrity is 100% true. Every order I've had arrived very quickly, generally in 2-3 business days. Their customer service is top notch. I regularly get personal emails from OSL, invitations or coupons for special offers, and they've always been very welcoming and responsive to feedback. To sum up, if you're a discerning athlete who knows the difference between real supplements and the junk most people want to sell you, if you want results without compromises, then you should be buying from Old School Labs.

Great Product
It does the job! I noticed a huge difference in my workouts a week after taking it. The workouts are still challenging, but with this, I'm definitely powering through them like never before. My recovery time is awesome, the next day I'm always ready to go. Im not sore and dying from the previous workouts. I tried not using it and working out for a week, and hands down it was an obvious difference. The Taste is horrible!! That's the biggest downside. It takes some time to get used to it. But that's the only downside the results are great. I think it's a great product, but I do think that they should work on the taste. I've been using it for 4 months now.

I hate reviews that copy pasta the label details and regurgitate ...
I hate reviews that copy pasta the label details and regurgitate what we already know. So, if you want a real review read this. I'm a 28 year old veteran who's main hobby is fitness and health. I've taken a lot of supplements...a lot. Some work great (jack3d RIP, Optimum Nutrition Protein <3), some are terrible (wont drop names but you'll see about half of them at GNC). The thing I like about VINTAGE is they aren't about that BS on the label with prop-blends and added ingredients that are foreign to you. They put everything on their label - which should be step one of gaining everyone's trust. The ingredients in their product are scientifically proven to work: BCAA's - increases protein synthesis and our cell's capacity for protein synthesis, sweet; the added creatine is meh imo, I'm not a fan because of the side affects like acne, excess water retention, etc.; however, the amount of creatine in BUILD hasn't produced said side affects so far (I've been taking BUILD for 2-3 months...but then again I'm pretty tan so my skin looks clear, whatever I don't know); L-glutamine has a wide variety of positive side affects on not just your musculoskeletal health, but mental health too. I have ADHD...I literally need a million things going on around me to focus. I hate taking my adderral and I try not to on my workout days because it suppresses your appetite. BUILD helps with my focus with that L-glutamine so I don't have to take my pills. With all that being said, here's what this product has done for me: It's given me quicker recoveries and more energy throughout my workout. I drink it during my lifts and when I lift twice a day I drink it after the 2nd workout. It tastes phenomenal compared to every single pre/post workout on the market. Anyways, it's a great BCAA supp that I think anyone who loves their body should drink during their workout.

I'm writing for 2 different flavors. When I purchased the product, I read the ingredients and was happy with it and then selected the flavor. That was a big mistake. Black Cherry has sucralose in it. I didn't check after changing flavors. After I received the product, I made my first drink and on the first taste I knew I was in trouble. I read the ingredients, saw the sucralose and went back to verify. It was my mistake but now I have a useless product that I'll have to throw most of it away. Sucralose is a poison. I ordered the mixed berry and it is good. There is a tart taste that I believe is due to the BCAAs but I think it tastes pretty good. I avoid all artificial sweeteners and excess sugars and have for months and this tastes fairly sweet to me. I've been using them for about a month now. I don't have anything to gauge the results against but I'm happy with them. I can feel my muscles growing but I'm also new to lifting and just starting out.

Returning Customer!
Previously I have ordered two bottles of the vintage Build and one bottle of the Vintage Burn. Let me start off by saying I am very specific at what goes in my body. Before purchasing supplements of any kind, I always do my research and find out as much as I can about what I'm going to be ingesting. The reason I settled for Old School Labs was their guarantee of all natural supplements (as stated numerous times on their website and labeled on the bottle). After cycling off and on through the various supplements I have noticed extraordinary benefits in my workout recoveries and overall definition. Because my recoveries are faster with the vintage build (BCAA's and creatine), I'm able to throw up more weight more frequently (still not up to two-a-days but maybe in the future!). I have also noticed significant size in my arms, chest, back, and legs (Damn this product for making me buy new clothes LOL). The initial loading phase recommended for most creatine products is not needed in my personal opinion. Additionally, my advice for anyone considering vintage build or Creatine Monohydrate would be to drink plenty of water IE more than 64oz a day (double that). There is no cure or product that will allow you to wake up instantly with abs or ripped delts like Arnold back in his heyday. These products do help with performance but only hard work and dedication will give you the results you are trying to acquire. Afterall, it is called WORKing out. It's not supposed to be easy and if it was, everyone would be doing it and everyone would be jacked. My only disappointment with Old School Labs is that there isn't a protein supplement that allows me to fully indulge myself in their products. I can honestly say that Old School Labs provides customers with a great product at a reasonable price.

Great 3-in-1 blend of bcaa, creatine, and l glutamine
This is the first "muscle builder" that worked for me... I used to be on a tennis scholarship in college and hit the gym 3-4 times a week on the side. Since I graduated, my program shifted more towards strength training. I'm 6'4" and my weight has always been constant around 180-185 lbs, this places me on the lean/skinny side, I never really liked that. The annoying part about it was that it didn't change much even when I ate like a lion! Earlier this year I made a promise to myself to put on 20-25 lbs of muscle... So I've been trying a couple of things such as eating right (increased protein), training at higher intensity (going heavier / doing explosives), and of course supplementing correctly. I was looking for the right stuff that possibly delivers a one-stop solution adding quality weight as I hated the thought of mixing 5 different powders. I spoke to a buddy in the gym who had been using vintage build and saw great results (he's big and cut). I looked it up and liked the mix of ingredients, plus the dosages of bcaa, creatine, and l glutamine made it seem like a good 3-in-1 muscle gainer. I ordered two bottles to make it last 6 weeks. I've been using vintage build for 4 weeks now, mixing 2 to 3 scoops daily and I must say it's been very potent! I can feel a noticeable increase in strength in the gym, so I can lift heavier and I'm also seeing much quicker recovery than before (my soreness goes away practically overnight). I put on 6 lbs of muscle in the past 4 weeks and I think it's just the start... I'm happy so far and feel extra motivated before my workouts!

Decent Product
I've been using for a week, so I realize this is a bit quick to write a review, but some things definitely jump out. I've never been a supplement guy, outside of freebies at the gym and protein shakes. However, I decided to not be a cheap bastard and make a purchase. I realize that this product is not cost effective. However, I work two jobs, commute 12 hours a week, and gotta squeeze in my gym time. Having a chemistry lab amount of random powders to have to mix together isn't ideal and this product gives you three-in-one...which I really enjoy. It mixes ok, not great, not bad, just meh. I usually have to add more water at the end to make sure I get it all. Minus 1 star. Maybe I'm just OCD. It taste like medicine....not dimetapp grape deliciousness, but like aspirin...with some mild berry unnatural flavor. I don't even think it states what flavor it is suppose to taste like. That took a star off for me. If you really care how your supplements taste, that might drop a few stars off for you, but I don't. I buy plain protein and mix it with water. It's only a few seconds off hatred as you chug it down, which is far less time than the overall self-hatred I heap on myself during a normal day. I digress... I have been teaching a new guy in the gym this week, going through a lot of different lifts, and using this product I've definitely been able to sustain my strength and endurance through much longer sessions. Lastly, I have genuinely gained a few pounds of muscle in just a week...which hasn't happened in several months. To Recap: Pros: 3-in-1 convenience Sweet Pumps, Great Strength, Excellent Endurance Cons: Taste like pharmaceutical garbage Doesn't mix well

I’ve tried them all and can say this one was worth the wait!! Increased my strength and recovery and FINALLY built real muscle!
This muscle builder post workout supplement has become an obsession for me since last year when I was in the US! And FINALLY it’s here now on Amazon UK! It just works, full stop. I’ve been lifting for 10 years but have always been on the skinny side. I did everything: read the books, ate right, trained intensively, and took my protein diligently but nothing seemed to help me build muscle the way I wanted. Last summer I spent some time in the US. visiting a friend who plays college level American football in California. He is built to the point where people go up to him at the gym and ask point blank what he is taking. He introduced me to Vintage Build from a local company and he swore by it. He told me he added 10 lbs of muscle and cut recovery times by half due to the combo of BCAA, creatine, and l-glutamine in the product. He said it was his secret sauce he was trying to keep from even his own team-mates! I trained on Vintage Build for for the 3 weeks I was in California and I couldn’t believe the changes. I felt stronger and less sore after the first time I took it and started to notice muscle gains after the first week. For me it was an incredible change from the norm! When I came back home, I ordered a bunch of Vintage Build but had to ship it from the US which was very expensive and took a long time. So I was very happy when I saw on Facebook that it was launching in the UK and stocked up from Amazon here as soon as they released it. I’m on my second bottle now and already seeing gains both in muscle and strength. Post workout soreness is a distant memory too! Thank you Amazon, and thank you Old School! There are many cheaper supplements out there but you get what you pay for: this company formulates their products from top notch ingredients and makes them in the US, plus they don’t include any junk or artificials in there. And their customer service is legendary! Tailored advice on training, nutrition and responding to all my emails. Check out their daily tips on Facebook. Those are great and they motivate me every time they pop up. I couldn’t be happier to have found Old School and Vintage Build is my new secret sauce. These guys have got themselves a loyal customer! I hope they bring more of their products to the UK soon.

Great formulation
I love this product! I was previously using separate BCAA and creatine but this packs it all in one. What's great for me is that it also includes electrolytes that are lost during excercise but DOESN'T mega-dose on B vitamins as some others do to near-toxic levels way above the RDA. Some of these products I've been looking at list over 1000% of the RDA for vitamins B6 and B12, which is lunacy. This product keeps it simple: just the essentials that are needed to support exercise and that are backed by science, and no gimmicks or mega-dosing. I bought the berry flavour and it tastes great - perhaps a bit sweet but I'm enjoying it so far. The mix isn't gritty and it dissolves quickly in water. My tub arrived double-sealed and with a silica sachet, and there was no clumping of the powder at all, it was bone dry as it left the factory - perfect.

Amazing product but ....
Its an amazing supplement , it definetly works and i'm already seeing good results but they should improve on the taste because its too sweet and also perhaps add some other flavours options

& it tastes great & doesn't effect the taste of either supplements
I've been using Vintage Build for well over a week now. And I do see the difference it has made with me. First impressions when opening packaging was 'cool'...It has a no BS thing about it..it does exactly what it says on the tin! I have been taking one scoop twice a day mixed with my protein shake...& it tastes great & doesn't effect the taste of either supplements. My recovery time has improved massively...I no longer feel as tired or sore as much from after working out. It has definitely helped me push myself harder in lifts & hopefully helps to get some new PR.. Using it as I am I would say i shoukd getabout 3/4 weeks out of it before I run out. I certainly wouldn't buy again..compared to other supplements out there that exaggerate on there claims at an extortionate price! Vintage don't & price is moderate enough I thought. Can't fault the product...I'm seeing results so keeps me happy & would certainly tell anyone interested in buying it to give it a go...you've nothing to loose & alot to gain!! And was delivered a day before it was scheduled so there's a bonus! Great product...Buy!!

Vintage old school build..worth the money or not.
I’m already half way through my old school vintage build and haven’t seen an awful lot of difference from my other branded formula to be fair. I know I’m only half way using it but at nearly £40 a tub it’s quite expensive compared to other brands. Just hoping i see a bigger change with the other half of tub or I’d have to switch back to my other formulas as they’d do the same job and are a lot cheaper..
