2Pcs Desk Grommet with Hole Saw

This was bought to allow us to put additional equipment on our countertop. The grommets are a good finish and fit for the hole that the hole saw cuts. The cover locks into place well but is a little tight if you want to unlock/lock.

These are only shallow so when I made the hole in the desk you can see the cardboard internals of the desktop, that said still functions as I needed it to so just dropped 1 star for that.

Needed to cut 60 mm ventilation holes in a cupboard shelf and a hole for a plug, did the job excellently and at a very reasonable price. Put in the garage and forget, but if I ever need it again I know it’s up to the task!

These are great value for their price and were really easy to fit.

Not mega mega broken but essentially dismantled itself during use, not tight enough put together

Used to cut hole in chipboard shelf. Clean cut. No problems with the cutter fitting on the arbor. Should be useful again, when there's a 60mm hole to cut.

I wanted to give a 1 star review but on the whole they are ignored unless you ant to hear a flat earther complaining that a compass shows declination So it's a two star so more people may actually read this. Opening the box everything looked fine, but then the problems started The zinc grommets, one of the caps wouldn't git into the ring due to the amount of zinc that had leaked between the mould halves, after rectifying that, the caps and rings wouldn't twist into place be due to inadequate clearance and artifacts from moulding, 40 minutes of my life wasted with removing flash and tidying up with files. I suspect the pilot drill was made of a bread stick as it snapped two thirds on the war through 12mm chipboard (and yes I was taking it easy) the drill was being run slowly and was set to low torque. I will also point out that I have retrofitted such things in desks back in the days when nobody considered cable management for desks. The hole cutter had a diameter about 3 or 4mm larger than the inserts so the 'grommets' rattled about and I only had Parafilm to hand to lap the inserts with to keep them in place. They are actually quite nice looking, but a thoroughly unpleasant experience to work with.

Die "Dosen" sind bei allen Teilen recht klapprig und vor allem nicht rechtwinklig gekantet und verarbeitet, wenigstens dass sollte im 21. Jahrhundert produktionstechnisch selbst im Schwellenland China möglich sein. Ein wenig Nachbearbeitung/Entgraten wäre auch angebracht. Dazu ist das Finish unterschiedlich, die Deckel sind ungleichmäßig gebürstet und auch das Material scheint hat eine leicht differierende Farbe. Ja, die Teile sind günstig, aber mit etwas professionellerer Einstellung in Sachen Qualität wären die Fehler durchaus vermeidbar und müssten sie nicht gleich billig daherkommen...

Ho comprato questi due passacavi in quanto in bundle c'èra anche la sega a tazza. Sono molto contento dei passacavi anche se la sega a tazza è adatta soprattutto per tavoli di spessore non troppo grosso. La mia scrivania è abbastanza spessa, quindi ho prima forato con la tazza il primo centrimetro, poi con uno scalpello ho scavato all'interno del foro, ho poi proseguito per un altro centrimetrocon la sega, scalpello e di nuovo sega terminando il lavoro perfettamente. Quindi funziona per scrivanie di spessore fino al centimetro, ma con un attimo di manualità anche per piani più spessi. Riaccqiusterei il prodotto volentieri

Nach leichter Nachbearbeitung ein gutes Teil.

Produit livré avec le passage de câbles brosse et aussi lamelles de plastique pour choisir : très bien Seul léger soucis, même avec les bossages sur les pièces, le trou avec la cloche est très légèrement trop grand et il n'y a pas de coincement à la mise en position du passe câbles. Produit de bonne qualité et bon visuel
