Inane and dreary rubbish
There was a lot of promise for this from the trailer - a decent cast and looked a bit mad and fun.Now half way through, hubby is now snoring beside me on the sofa. And for a change I'm glad of the snoring, as it's better than having to put this back on.Whoever wrote the script for this should hang up their word processor now.Inane, characters with zero depth and wit. I haven't actually laughed out loud once. This needs to be a 99p rental rather than the £4.50 charged (sadly I thought I might as well buy it for the extra £1).Ah well, time to find something better to do.

Mediocre Irish gangster not-very-comedic comedy
As a massive fan of Irish cinema, and comedy in particular, I had high hopes for this movie with its gangster caper premise and ensemble cast. However, for me personally, it didn't deliver at all, despite a few chuckles here and there. It's very hard/impossible for any movie to follow in the footsteps of "The Guard" and with the best will in the world, this came over as something akin to a "mockbuster", being based on a suspiciously similar set of ingredients – drug smuggling gangsters, comedy violence etc, set in the west of Ireland. Sadly, the writing lets this film down. The cast are largely good although the accents not convincing in many places, which is mildly irritating for those born in the Emerald Isle. Biggest laugh for me was a nice close-up of a prop gun whose barrel was not hollow. Would love to be able to give this movie a higher score but sorry guys, 2 stars only.

Not a comedy
There are a few funny moments in the film. They are all in the trailer. The remainder of the 'comedy' is a series of bloody murders culminating in an orgy of bloody murders in a church.I would recommend that you enjoy the trailer and then go find an actual comedy.

I enjoyed it ...
... despite it being a bit of a mish mash. I think my only criticism is that it tries too hard to be all things to all men and (women too)! There are some excellent gags and situations. The cast are excellent throughout.

Pixie,
Pretty good flim, a girl that goes to amazing ways to get the money and after making two people fall in love... and rips them off .. and the boys ripped off the drug lord, and killed them.... all in this flim.. 9/10

Hoped it would be better
Not great, didn't make it to the end. Didn't feel a connection to any of the characters, quite slowed paced. For an action comedy roadtrip there was very little action, very little comedy and not much of a roadtrip.

Solid Irish crime caper
Madcap crime and beautiful Irish setting. Violent, but comic. Good cameos from Dylan Moran and Alec Baldwin but the cast are the runaway stars.

Enjoyable
Very enjoyable just wondering how they managed to get so many rain free days in Ireland to film. Great characters good story
