For those who hates throwing away a dulled blade...buy one on these.
Its the ONLY sharperner for rotary blades... works ok but nothing beats a fresh new japanese steel blade...I hooked up the sharperner to my drill... oooo nice.

IT WORKS !!!
This is a brilliant little gadget, I felt my rotary cutter was needing replacing, plus it has a miniscule nick so it missed a thread.Just a dozen turns on each side and it's like new!

Useful tool
This replaces a previous Omnigrid Rotary Cutter dual sharpener. Can’t do with out it.

not up to the job
the idea is good and the plastic of the gadget is sturdy and easy to hold but the "sharpening" relies on a very flimsy piece of wet/dry sandpaper which just doesn't have any effect. Would probably be ideal if it had a ring of whetstone. as it is... well it doesn't work and i can foresee the paper shredding after not too many attempts.

Did a great job sharpening my rotary blades. I just wish it could sharpen different sized blades rather than buying one for each size.

Useful to extend blade life, but..
My rotary blade was rusted. After wet sanding the surface, I still hard to sharpen the edge. With the Omni grid sharpener, it did the job of dressing the cutting edge. I did however, use 240 and 400 grit sandpaper, used a 5 cm round cutter and a 4 cm round cutter (positioned carefully) to make my own sanding disc for the Omni gridEdit: even thought the Omni grid is Green and Colonial is blue, the plastic indicates Tri-Sharp .. so get whichever is on sale!

Useful tool for increasing rotary blades longevity
Very useful and efficient tool. I don't know how many times can I sharpen one blade but after first sharpening they cut as new

Affutage simple mais ne rend pas la lame aussi coupante qu'une lame nuve.
L'affûtage, en suivant les instructions, semble efficace au départ, mais la découpe avec la lame affûtée n'est pas aussi propre que celle obtenue avec une lame neuve.

A great sharpener. The blade is exposed during the sharpening, so be careful and follow the instructions. It's amazing the difference
