Contact Ball Weighted Baseball Training Ball, Instantly Shows When Hitters Make Solid Contact

I use this with my children as medicine balls for building arm strength. I would be hesitant to actually hit it with a bat since its so expensive.Here are some of the drills I have him do. The extra weight helps him to focus on his mechanics because he has to go slower. It also builds strength and hand eye coordination:1. Hold the ball palm down. Drop the ball and catch it with your hand still facing palm down. Work to increase speed. Eventually I'll have him try and do a circle around the ball before catching.2. Palm facing up and toss straight up using forearm and wrist.3. Start with ball at belly button in throwing hand glove hand touching ball. Raise both arms up and out to form a "T" similar to getting into throwing position.4. Throw the ball to a partner. We just do a couple of tosses with this ball and then move on.

These balls have been great and the price was super compared to some of the similar weighted 'contact' baseballs. These balls are fantastic as truth tellers and reinforcing good mechanics. If you don't hit square the ball up, it will spin like crazy and let you know you missed. If you're getting too handsy or out of time, you'll notice that in your contact as well. Definitely worth the investment.

This has helped my son to have a stronger swing and to help him swing through the pitch. With the additional weight, it takes more strength in the swing to drive the ball.

My son uses these balls for batting practice is a limited space backyard. He is 10 years old but has a strong swing for his age. The quality of these balls is much higher than all the other less expensive balls. You get what you pay for. I should note that these balls are not ideal for throwing. The sand(?) inside is makes it too difficult to throw normally.

This thing works amazing! My son outgrew are yard with his crazy batting skills so to spare our neighbors windows we needed a solution to practice batting instead of going to the field.... This was it! We are back in the yard everyday practicing, I wish I would have found this a long time ago!

Need to be a brighter color, they get lost easily when used in the grass because they blend in too well, particularly in the longer grass.

Great for shoulder physical therapy - used something like it when I was visiting the PT office. Took a while to find something similar online but this is exactly what I needed! About the size of a baseball but squishy and easy to grip. Can throw it against the floor or wall without causing any damage.

We hit with these before every game. We've definitely noticed an improvement in our teams swing after a year of using these consistently. Definitely recommend coached have 4-5 of these in their bucket.

Has taught my kid how to follow through when swinging and therefore improved his hitting. It might be a little bit to big for an 8 year old, but that would be my fault and not the products fault. Would recommend the lighter 15 oz weighted ball for younger kids as it might be more at there skill level. The ball has held up fine to even adults hitting it. A friend recommended pouring some super glue, or something similar, in the hole where the ballast goes in to keep the plug from popping out over time.
