A perfect first book on the planets! Truly designed and written for young kids ages 3-5.
What a fun introduction to the solar system. It’s super fun, bright and colorful, and even written in rhyming text.My three old LOVES it! He can’t put it down. There are even a few introductory facts about each planet that give it a personality without overwhelming children with too much information.I can’t recommend this book enough. It makes learning what can otherwise be an intimidating subject fun and interesting. Most books like this have way too much text in them. This one is definitely age appropriate.

Wonderful fun and educational book!
Our 3.5 year old recently got into space so we got this book for him. Of course he absolutely loves it and we read it every night. It’s educational and entertaining, and despite one typo in the book, I’d absolutely recommend it.

Great book
This is a great book as an introduction to space. My almost 4 year old son is learning about planets at school and was really happy to have this book. Very bright colors and clear bold text. He knows the planet names and he points at them as they are all in uppercase and highlighted to distinguish it from the rest of the text as you can see from the pictures. A nice way for kids to learn. Love it!

My baby girl also loves this book! Colourful planets! What’s not to like? 😂
I would recommend this book as a gift or for your child/baby. Very sturdy. Top quality and fair price. I show her different books about our universe and she loves it. Very attractive for children.

Better than the other books in the 'Little Genius' series
The media could not be loaded. On the most part this is a cute and fun book for your LO. I love the concept of rhyming and the ‘fun fact’ boxes. There’s only a couple of things I’d change. Following the Montessori method, I don’t wish to project reward and punishment, which this book does with rewarding Saturn with a “medal” and saying Pluto is “demoted” as a planet as if it was punished for doing something wrong, which is shown by Pluto looking very upset. There is also a line in Mercury’s fun fact that says “Here’s a fact about Mercury that just sounds wrong.” I would change that to —>“Here’s a fact about Mercurythat goes beyond all hoursA year is 88 days … andone day is twice as long as ours!”I would also change the Saturn page to —>“Saturn is my second biggest planet, who is encircled with those beautiful rings! They’re made of ice, dust and rockswhich circle the planet like strings.”I prefer factual books to just state the facts in a fun way, rather than the author projecting their own opinions. Leave the opinionated thoughts to us reviewers!! Nitpicking aside, overall, it is an informative book that can be enjoyed by your LO.

Great…but it has a typo.
Awesome book for my toddler to learn about planets. She has been asking how it can be day time here, but also night time at grandmas house. Cute pictures, simple info.Makes me a bit sad that it had a typo though. It should say ONE DAY IS TWICE AS LONG!

Received Damaged
For a $12-15 book, I'd expect it to come in better shape then it did. It looked like it was sitting in the bottom of the bin. All scratched up, and the bottom right hand corner lifted. Too embarrassed to gift. I could have purchased better a book in better shape at a thrift store.
