Great for pizza bases too!
I bought this as an attempt to speed up the making of pizza bases. I wasn't sure it'd work for that purpose, but it does, beautifully. The wax discs it came with are great too, I just put one on the bottom plate, pop on a ball of dough, top with another disc and press. This is going to save me so much time when firing up my wood-fired oven to host big pizza parties. Getting perfect circles will take practice, but I am already delighted with the results. This is heavy cast iron and will hopefully last years. I have noticed some comments about shoddy bolts, but the ones mine came with are fine. I am very happy with this product.

Great multi-purpose tortilla press!
I received a 10 Inches Cast Iron Tortilla Press with FREE 100 Pieces of Oil Paper in great conditions. It is very sturdy and ideal to make amazing tortillas and other flatbreads. The tortillas came out thin enough and circular every time! The oil papers helped to make easy and mess-free tortillas. I was very pleased with my purchase.☺️

It's not small..
It's a big item to store but wanted a larger one. Good build quality. You need to make sure you use the right dough which I found out the hard way. Looking forward to use it more.

Not thin enough
The press doesn't seem to get them flat enough, they turned out very thick and doughy after cooking. When I roll by hand they are much thinner and puff up beautifully. Not sure if I am doing something wrong?? Also the top has gone rusty after I washed it as per the instructions

Does a good job
This press is a heavy beast and does a great job. The pressed Tortillas are perfect and the unit should last a lifetime, although it's cast iron so drop it at your peril! The weight of it means you have to be careful if you have stone worktops. It's heavy and if your grip strength is not good you may want to consider a lighter unit but for us this is perfect.

Eh
Overpriced. It tells you to use their sheets but your dough will still stick. It is sturdy but feels like it could like fall apart at any point. Still heavy and could break something with it but it does feel all Clanky and janky

Great for keto
I got this to help create keto bread-type recipes including keto fathead pizza dough. It's very easy to use and you can adjust the thinness by applying more/less pressure. The results are great when using parchment paper (they provide 100 discs), and consistently round and professional looking with a little practice. Definitely great for those on keto who miss certain carb products! When off keto, I'll also look forward to using it for carb recipes (e.g. corn tacos, dumplings). The only negative is that the entire item is cast iron – there's no rubber padding. I place mine on a silicone baking mat to avoid damaging the worktop. In this price range, they all lack padding so I can't deduct a point; it's just something to be mindful of when using/storing.

I orginally was going to give this a 2 star review and return it. it could make thick stubby tortillas, but that's it. I even had it packed in the box and ready to go. I couldn't get my flour tortillas very flat at all compared to hand rolling them with a rolling pin. I was super disappointed because my family likes homemade burritos at least once a week and hand rolling tortillas is time consuming and kind of hard to do. It was so heavy I delayed returning it. Good thing I delayed because I figured I'd give it one more chance. I looked up a new recipe that was heavy on the oil/lard and made a softer sticker dough than I was used to. If you hand roll then you know you can't have a sticky dough. It's the opposite with this, a stickier dough will simple flatten super thin. I now just add more water than i did before (almost half a cup water to one cup flour). its very sticky but will flatten nicely. My dough will actually squish out the sides without much effort. But you absolutely need the parchment paper! i also spray the paper with oil to make the squishing even better. If this thing came with a recipe book (like advertised) it might save people from using much drier recipes that simply don't work in a press. Another tip to work with the stick dough is to definitely use the parchment paper it comes with. after flattening only peel the top paper off. Slap the dough into your frying pan with the other paper still on, let it cook for a few seconds then peel off the remaining paper. It's pretty fun and effective. The bolt holding things together doesn't seem that sturdy BUT you don't need to press so hard it would break ... and it would be very easy to replace from a hardware store. I like this better than seem custom part that might be stronger but impossible to easily replace. This thing has turned into probably my favorite purchase all year. UPDATE: I've been using this a lot, and another tip is if you are only getting about 80% of the flattening done and getting the last bit is hard, just take it out of the press (with the parchment paper) and finish the flattening with a rolling pin. The press is easy to get the first 80% done, a rolling pin is pretty easy to get the last 20% done (if needed, maybe your dough is too dry or springy)
