Assuming you are natural gas, and you have the Robertshaw valve, yes. If you have the SIT valve then the pilot assembly is 571-510a.

Flame intermittently goes out when activated from wall switch. Stays on from internal rocker switch. Will this part resolve?

If wire run to wall switch is too long and/or has high resistance the thermopile may not be able to generate enough voltage to overcome the resistance. Check voltage at gas valve (will be in millivolts) and compare to spec for the gas valve.

Is this appropriate for a 20 year old heat-n-glo model # sl-750-trs-c serial # sl 75trscn ?

Will this work with heat & glo sl 950- tr-ipi ?

It worked on a Heat N Glo AT Grand model, if it has a standing pilot you should be good.

Good quality replacement part.!

Great replacement part..!! Saved over $400 doing it myself compared to the HVAC guys. Took about 45min. Works excellent.. Fits a GTI (Gas Technologies Inc.) Model: R-4500 perfectly.

Fixed the problem

Dealt with fire going out spontaneously for far to long. I possibly could have gotten away with only replacing the therocuppler but as long as you are there, might as well replace the whole assembly for not much more dollars. Good decision, works great.

It works but was not a direct replacement. This was a different design and did not bolt at the top. This is floating in the same spot but not secured.

Perfect fit

Perfect fit. The install for my was a little bit of a pain in getting to all the connectors as it was a little tight for my hands. Overall perfect fit and works great

Not the same part as one ordered in 2014 and thermocouple line won't thread into casing

I re-ordered this which I'd initially bought as a replacement in 2014, but the plug end on the thermocouple line no longer fits the casing. The thread probably stripped at the end trying to get it in, before I realized the new version has a plug-end that is slightly deeper. I remember in the previous version, there was no room for error; it just barely fit and threaded on. The new version didn't fit. Note that in the attached picture the new version is slightly closer than the old version, however you can clearly see the tapered end of the plug is longer. In addition, because the plug-end is not bound to the threaded piece, it can allow the copper wire to become bent at the plug or the plug to not be flush with the threaded piece. If the plug were bound to the threaded piece and if the plug weren't as deep, this would likely fit the older Heat-n-glo fireplace, but it didn't for me.
