Much shorter than pictured
My issues with this petticoat are not entirely based on the quality. Rather, they are based on the implications in the photos for the petticoat. The photos for this petticoat show it reaching to about mid-thigh. I can only imagine the models are very short because I measured the petticoat I received and it was just under 11 inches from waist to hem. The material is stretchy and I was able to stretch it out to about 13 inches long, but it shrunk right back when I let it go. It is long enough to cover everything you want covered, but it's too short for the skirt I wanted to wear it with.As another FYI, the "hem" of this petticoat is just uncut tulle, so it looks pretty messy. It's fine if you won't allow it to be seen under a skirt, but if you like your petticoat poking out from under a skirt it will look sloppy instead of intentional. Again, not a complaint, just some information as the photo and description didn't make that clear.Other than that, the petticoat seemed fine. I've seen better quality petticoats of this length at lower prices, so it was not a bargain. This is a mid-range petticoat in terms of quality and price so...three stars.

Nice petticoat for the $
This is actually a decent petticoat for the money, it was on sale when I bought it. But it is nicer than most Halloween store ones as well as fuller and less itchy. It also isn't incredibly short like the ones I see in Halloween stores which are like micro mini petticoats. This is a nice length, for me it can be from the top of the knee to mid thigh length, which is what I was looking for. It has good volume, but not a ton so if you are looking for a full petticoat for under something substantial , say japanese Lolita wear, you probably will need to buy one of the expensive ones( they tend to range 40- 80$)But as some one who sews and has made a petticoat before, even 50$ for a nice one is great! Because to make one you will need tons of crinoline or whatever you are using ( about 40 yards I used for a knee length one!) and sewing these netted materials together is such a pain! I will sew for half an hour and then the thread will ccome out of half of it right away. There must be a special way or stitch to use on them, but I haven't found it yet.

Not very poofy, good quality, okay petticoat.
It is not nearly as voluminous as the picture presents. The packaging states that it will get fuller as you separate the layers but there are few layers to begin with and it does not add much volume to my halloween costume. I will not be using it this year but will be holding onto if for future costumes, as the nice part is that it is long enough to be seen underneath a halloween skirt without needing to pull it way down on the waist. I'm a size 10-12 and it fit fine.

Cute, but...
Not opaque like it looks here, rather see-through. Fine quality, with stiff, sturdy tulle that will hold up to much wear.True to size. I got a large, I am about an 8 normally, and it fits very well. Bought it to go with my corsets, rather happy, but will be adding some tulle myself to make it wearable in public. (Note, kinda short. If you have a butt to speak of, others will end up seeing it.)

Decent for the price
Fit as expected. Came out of the packaging flat, but I separated, scrunched, and floofed the layers as the packaging suggested which made it decently poofy for such a cheap petticoat (although not nearly as thick and poofy as the photo). Having the inner skirt liner is very nice. I'm 145lbs and 5'7" and it covered the upper 1/3 of my thighs.

great if petite teenager, too small for average adult -waist
if you are a petite teenager, then you might like it. It's too small for average american adult women. The material is coarse, stiff, unbending and I shall assume, very uncomfortable to sit-on it, when sitting down. Probably not to be worn under a skirt or a dress. It seems to be maybe 6" long, not very long, and the image of it, does not represent what you get-not fluffed out. I prefer more softer-silky materials to wear than this VERY STIFF, too tight,petticoat-designed for young teeanger ~10-15 years old and not someone older or has average waist!

Nice for the Price!
I wear a size 8-10, generally a medium, and this fit fine. Just an inexpensive tutu, I don't think I could have made it for $8. I wore it as an underskirt under the attached steampunk outer skirt and it was just dandy. I also wore athletic shorts to feel a bit more secure since this is pretty short, but it was very nice that this tutu had a lining! Comfy, as well, and didn't ride up like a different (purple) one I bought a couple of years ago. Steampunk Retro Victorian Punk Cincher Lace up Long Ruffle Pencil Skirt

Picture is misleading
The picture of this petticoat looks beautiful, but it what I received is not at all. The package came and when i opened it, I was pretty disappointed. It only has 2 layers of tulle, not the 4 that are shown, and it barely puffs out at all. It has no shape and is basically flat and itchy. For $9.99 its what you should expect I guess but I must say the picture is very misleading. Great for Halloween, but that's about it.
