The build quality is surprisingly nice, it seems like it provides good sun protection and definitely more wind resistance than a small baby umbrella, since the arms of the umbrella have strong springs in them. I would probably be concerned about long term use of the wooden handle going up and down the shaft of the umbrella, but I just received it so we’ll see. It is very easy to use with one click of a button to open the umbrella, the people that complain about the umbrella being hard to close are just being weak because it’s really easy to close. The weight of the umbrella isn’t that heavy at all but obviously it’s a larger umbrella so it’s not easily transportable like a mini umbrella but it looks very classy and can easily fit two people (me and my girlfriend who are about 110lbs and I am 140lbs) and we could probably fit our backpacks too and not get wet from the rain.

I really like this umbrella. It is a full sized umbrella with a solid wooden handle. I feels very durable and holds up against strong winds. It opens very easily with the push of a button. It takes some effort to close it, but I don't mind that so much if that's the compromise for a strong and fast opening. I live in a city and walk to work. This is great for rainy days. Would not be very practical to take in a car due to the size.

Seems to be a reliable umbrella. I just put it through it's toughest ordeal yet the other day -- 20-30 mph winds with gusts up to 35! The rain was flying at me sideways, so I held the umbrella sideways against it the majority of two 20 minute walks outside. I was very satisfied with the way it held up, and it kept me surprisingly dry except for my feet. I stepped in some puddles, and the umbrella isn't quite tall enough to cover my 5"11" vertical height against sideways rain. When the rain falls straight down or even at a reasonable angle it's fine. At one point a gust caught me by surprise, and I thought the wind might turn it inside out or snap it -- but it stayed in shape. I was happy about that. The wood honestly doesn't feel super expensive. It looks good and holds up well, it just doesn't seem that weighty. After numerous times throwing it in the car, twirling it and dropping it occasionally, and the handle is showing some light nicks and scars against the brown stain. However, the design and overall look of the umbrella is very attractive! However, considering the price, and the reliability in some tough storms, I'm very happy I chose this umbrella at just $20!
