Excellent for 7 lb kitten
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the white. It was delivered quickly and in good condition with no stains or defects. Assembly was quick and easy. Instructions easy to follow.Kitten is about 6 months old and 6.8 lbs. He loves it. It did move a little when he was first climbing on it, but I think he's adjusting his movements so it won't wiggle much. You can see in the video he does a lot of up and down playing on it. It might be a little less sturdy if he was larger.I'll have to see how he grows into it.He loves the hiding hole. He plays in it, sleeps in it... Again, I'll have to see how much growing he does and how well it fits him when he's closer to a year. Right now, it's great.

I was a little worried about being able to keep her happy - especially since she likes to explore
I'm living in a very small space right now, so when I unexpectedly adopted a cat, I was a little worried about being able to keep her happy - especially since she likes to explore, climb, and perch in high places. With my size and budget limitations, I was struggling to find a cat tree that wasn't just a single boring perch. Then I happened to spot this one, and I'm glad I did, because it gave both me and my cat most of what we were looking for! This cat tree is nice and compact, so it doesn't overcrowd the room, but it still has a lot of options for my cat to interact with it: a hiding place, two different ledges to jump up on, scratching posts, even a little dangle ball. She was actually trying to scratch it and play with it while I was still putting everything together! And as soon as I got it up, she took right to it, no prompting or catnip bait required. However, I do have to knock off a star because the main post is a little wobbly; it doesn't feel like it's going to fall over or anything, but the whole thing shakes a little when my cat moves around on it. She's a small cat, so if your cat is bigger/heavier, this might not be the best option for you. It might also be slightly unstable because of the other reason why I'm dropping a star: according to the instructions, it was supposed to include an Allen wrench, but there was none to be found in the box. I managed to get everything pretty tight with other tools, but having the Allen wrench that was meant to fit the screws would have made assembly a lot faster. However, nothing else was missing and it was actually fairly easy to construct, so I can't complain too much. For the price you pay, this is a good overall cat tree, especially if you're looking for something smaller but still entertaining. Shipping was fast and assembly wasn't too bad. I would say that my cat and I are satisfied with this product.

Very Nice
Cute, contemporary, little piece of cat furniture. It is a great value as it is nicely made - it's not cardboard like a lot of these things are - and it is very easy to assemble. Even though I looked at the measurements and measured the space, it seems a little smaller than I anticipated but that's ok. It could be because the one I'm replacing is huge and bulky and overwhelmed the space so maybe this one just looks smaller because the space looks bigger! Who knows?! But I love it. Hope the two wicked stepsisters agree...

Mocha Latte loves it
Mocha Latte loves her kitty condo/tree. It was just what she needed. She's a 3 pound kitten. I can see her using it for a year. I don't think it would be good for multiple adult cats or an overweight cat.A small-to-average size cat could use it, or a couple of kittens until they get big.I like the fact that it actually looks like something I'd want in my apartment. I don't know why most cat furniture is so ugly it looks like Vogons built it. This is rather stylish.I docked a star because my open-box warehouse deal didn't come with instructions or the hex key needed to put it together. I knew the package would be damaged but I didn't know about the other things. A friend of mine has a set of hex keys and we figured it out.Update: More than a year later I have a ten pound grown-up cat and this tree still looks good. She still uses it. The claw sharpener has not worn out. I'm impressed. She turned out to be a smaller cat so the tree holds up fine. More than ten pounds I would think might be too much for this tree as it does wobble a bit when she jumps on it, but it's still going strong.

Very small! Just for the wee ones!
I loved it as soon as I saw it but be careful, it's very small, luckily my cat is only 6.5 lbs! It's not very hard to assemble but, a word of warning, 'build it from the top down' was an instruction I found on a little insignificant tag separate from the full page diagram and instructions. However, after a hiccup or two, I found it better to do it both ways:- TOP DOWN - attach the top perch to the middle size scratching post and then add the middle lounging shelf and the long and short scratching posts. BOTTOM UP - attach the igloo to the base and insert the screws ready to attach the long and short scratching posts. lay pieces on there sides facing and then screw together. At this point I was very nervous because I couldn't get the screws very tight but, Ah Ha! grab hold of the upper perch and turn it like a steering wheel and it tightens all the screws from top to bottom!I placed it in front of the window Heidi (my cat) loves to look out from - she left the room and went to look out of the patio doors! I tried it with catnip and she rolled around on it, got high and that was it! She totally ignores it and won't even jump up to the sill of her favorite window! Well, we are looking to buy a house, so then I'll maybe use it as a planter ;(
