Spear & Jackson 9LWCKEW Kew Gardens 9 Litre French Style Watering Can, Dark Green

OK this is very expensive for a watering can but I hope it will outlast me. Gorgeous colour. Well constructed. Looks good just sitting there waiting to be used (unlike most plastic versions) Probably more eco-friendly too (doesn't degrade under UV) Worth the expense.

Bought this watering can as it is a good make and looks good, however when it arrived the pain was chipped around the spout, I looked at the sellers site and it says Spear and Jackson are the guarantors so I rang their customer service to be informed it’s the sellers responsibility, after checking the site again it clearly states Spear and Jackson guarantee the item, another phone call again informed nothing to do with them……I gave up and have kept the item ( I know it’s a watering can and will be left out in the elements but I expected it to be perfect as it’s new). Really disappointed in Spear and Jackson Customer Service.The can looks stylish and it’s light to use

This is a very stylish can, it balances well when filling up and watering things. Unfortunately it arrived with a sizeable dent in the bottom and the paint peeling off from around the dent, the head and handle are also seriously scratched. I expected a new product to be in better condition but it was so hot that my garden would have died if I took time sending it back so I kept it. Since I got it it has fallen off a table outside onto the grass. A very small drop with no water inside and somehow this tiny knock has caused it to become misshapen as if it has been squashed under a large pressure. It won’t last very long at this rate, which feels bad when it cost so much!

Great looking and feels vey sturdy. Pours well and the moveable handle keeps the balance as the can empties.

This is really not a high quality item, but is just using the S&J name to sell cheap stuff. Not "made in Sheffield", and the handle has been spray painted, rather than actually being copper or brass.Will have to wait and see if it manages to last the year.

This is a really handsome watering can but I was really surprised and disappointed at how banged up it was when it arrived - handles and spout scratched. Will keep it because I need it (and it's a garden tool after all, it will likely get more scratches), but not sure I'd order from this supplier again.

Solid but lightweight

As far as watering cans go this is the best! I liked it so much I bought one for my brother!Highly recommend!
