Ardell Duralash Starter Kit (Pack of 2)

THESE WERE SO PRETTY! I wanted them to work so bad! Let me tell you my experience... I found a lash extension diy video on you tube and she recommended these! Her instructions were great, and I put them on with minimal issues. They looked so beautiful! I rocked my lashes for the rest of the day, and went to bed at night. I tried so hard to sleep on my back, but I’m a crazy sleeper. I move all over in my sleep. So needless to say, I wiggles around all night, and slept like a rock... I woke up looking like a cheap hooker 🤣 Half my lashes had fallen out, the rest were bent upside down and diagonal. I was dying! I absolutely knew this was a risk going into it, but it looked so hilarious, and was totally unfixable! So I used the serum to take off the lashes. Here’s the reason why I can only give this product 3 stars (I feel like the above reasons are more user error, than the actual integrity of the product): I had to take off the lashes the next day, and it was darn near impossible! It was so painful and the removing serum BURNED my eyes so bad! It makes sense that they were hard to remove—they’re supposed to last for 3 weeks— but I don’t think the chemicals in the remover should be used around eyes. I was genuinely concerned about my eyes while I was trying to remove the lashes. I lost a good percentage of my natural lashes, and the skin on my eyelids was tender for a few days after the fact. Again, I’m not totally sure HOW to rate this product, as I’m sure a lot of the issues I had were user error. But I will say, I think it’s more trouble than it’s worth, and I wouldn’t recommend to a friend. Good luck on your eyelash endeavors!

Originally I was excited when I received two packs and the price was decent. However, I have tried several times to glue the lashes on and they just won’t stick. I’ve tried putting them on right after dipping in the glue, waiting a few seconds, adding more glue, using less glue. Nothing works! I tested a little bit of glue on my finger and it never even got tacky. Not sure what the problem is but I’ve never had this problem before. I personally wouldn’t recommend.

At first I was very impressed by this product. It was extremely easy to put on my right eye and hard for my left, but that's natural because I'm right handed. The lashes looked full and beautiful. The glue burned my eyes a little bit. A little bit of glue definitely goes a long way. I thought this was supposed to last "up to weeks", but the first lashes started falling out after two days of application. It was a nuisance trying to carry around extra lashes, tweezers, and glue everywhere in case they fell out. When it came time to remove the lashes, it pulled out almost half of my real lashes with it. Remover does not work. I still have another pack left I do not plan on using. My lashes used to reach my eyebrows with my eyes looking upwards and now you can barely see them at all. Is not worth how pretty it looks the first two days.

If you are looking at these you should probably order the ones without the ball on the end. These are almost impossible to get to stick to your lashes. I think Ardell is a good brand and their products are very reliable. If you're a beginner these are a great option but purchase the ones without the ball. I ended up trimming the ball off of these with scissors in order to use them.

Easy to use. But the glue bottle is glass, so you can’t squeeze the glue out- you’ll have to use something pointy like a toothpick to pull some out.

The glue irritated my eyes quite a bit and it took a couple tries to figure out how it works but overall good product 👍🏽edit: had to remove them a few hours later because they were irritating my eyes and it would hurt to look to the right. try it out and see if it works for you, but i recommend getting them done professionally

Don’t buy! When I applied them they looked great but the glue gets crusty over time and u can see it. And when I tried to take them off it was impossible there was so much glue left over and I pulled out a bunch of my natural lashes bc it would not come off at all

These inspired me to finally try Lashify. Expensive but it’s gotta be better than this. The adhesive is terrible on this, doesn’t last.
