Really easy set up and usage. No pairing or batteries to replace. Activate or adjust timer with one button. This timer runs directly off the electrical outlet and your lamp (or other electrical device/appliance) in plugged into the timer.When your main electricity goes out, and back on, you need only touch one button to activate the appliance. No annoying clock resets.That’s it. Good stuff!

I like these simple push button timers. I’ve ordered at least four so far. Two have eventually failed, but only after several years of use. They are inexpensive enough to just replace if or when that happens. The “+” button lets you stack (add) the times together if you need a longer “On” time. I used these timers for a coffee/tea mug warmer that I want to turn off before it’s own auto-shut off time…and for a heating pad that I only want ‘on’ for say 30 minutes. It can be used for things like hair curling irons or clothes irons that may not have an auto-shut off function built in to their electronics. Of course it’s versatile enough to use for any light or device you’d only like to leave on for a fixed amount of time.

While most items like this only allow for the large-gaps in timing choices, this one allows you to add the times together to more closely get what you need. And the interface is obvious, so no instructions are needed once you learn what it can do. Awesome and helping me keep things charged without going all the way to 100% each time and wearing out the battery.

The biggest selling feature of this countdown timer over other similar devices is the " + " (plus) key. Want to set a countdown for 3 and a half hours? Easily done. 1 hour and 45 minutes? Yes, you can do it. Using the " + " (plus) key you can add any of the countdown units together to create custom amounts. The maximum is 7 hours and 45 minutes.NOTE: The timer doesn't have the ground pin (third pole) on its plug or on its outlet, it's just a two pin/port design. Keep that in mind if you're needing to plug in devices that use the triple pin/pole design. You can get a simple adapter and everything should function just fine, but it would've been nice to have the added safety and convenience of a ground pin/port.The repeat function will repeat your selected countdown at the same time each day.I tested it by charging an electric scooter overnight. The timer works reliably. It does get a little warm (a bit more than other timers I've tried), but I'm sure it's fine. If you're ok with the unit not having a three pin/port design and you don't need a countdown greater than 7 hours and 45 minutes, this is a good choice. It's especially a good choice if you need a specific custom countdown.I like that you get TWO at a great price.Recommended!UPDATE:After just a few uses under normal conditions I experienced the same problem noted by another reviewer: I heard a loose object inside the case. I opened the case to find a blown capacitor top. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that the timer has a one year warranty. They promptly offered a 50% refund. I'd rather have a working timer, but at least they honor their warranty.This timer has an excellent physical design, but apparently very poor quality control concerning the internal components. Sad, because it was my favorite timer from the three I've tried. We'll see how long the second timer lasts.

It took me a few tries to get it right. It was so easy, but I guess I was over thinking it! LOL. I LOVE it. I'm using it now to light my pumpkin, and then it'll soon be time to light up all my outside lights.

There work perfectly and are very easy to use for charging my iPhone. They would get 5 stars except that they invariably fail after 8 months. If you want to purchase these regularly after they fail, please do so. Not for me.

This is a good product for my hot rollers that I often forget to turn off. You can set the timer for 15 mins to 4 hours and it will automatically turn off what is plugged into it.

Very easy to use. Other than that, I question the quality and reliability of the compnents used on these units. Worked perfectly for 6 months... then they both started to die and one day, theyu never turned on again. Will buy a differtent brand next.

Purchased to use as a timer for my fan overnight- so it will shut off when I go to sleep. It did exactly what it said it would. Extremely easy to set up. Great value! Hoping to save on our electric bill and ware on our fan. Love it and highly recommend!
